@ShakespeareHamlet I think it depends on which version you see first. For me the cinematography and music of the 1965 version cannot be topped and Omar Sharif' is gorgeous. The director, David Lean, made him underplay most scenes and act mostly with his eyes. Consequently he was brillant in the role

I've always been told that Omar Sharif is gorgeous, but after watching this I totally disagree. His moustache is creepy

good movie, but the 2002 TV remake with Keira Knightley and Hans Matheson is much better.
