@candycommander - i think they're trying to cut down on films that happen cause of stuff from real life, the downside is that the films lose their realness and meaning.
I like movies that are grounded in reality (Count of Monte Cristo and Gladiator), but movies are about the experience too. I'm more so disappointed how most movies spoon feed the audience as if no studios have the balls to do something different that keeps the viewer guessing after the movie is over. Inception is the most recent example that comes to mind.
@candycommander - i enjoyed untangling the mobius-like timeline/s in Mulholland Drive. it's annoying when something as obvious as that is in a movie (eg events happening out of sequence, which Rabbits is like also) and then you read some jackass trying to claim it's all a dream that meant nothing in some synopsis they wrote of the film. the metal gymnastics must reveal things to them they don't want to realise in their conscious minds..
Fuck, yes! Bill Pullman is a damn brilliant actor under the direction of the genius David Lynch. And a respectable nod to Robert Blake too! Fantastic movie!
a 1000 thumbs up! I actually met Mr Lynch, few days ago, he is really down-to-earth, and very friendly, I got to shake hands with him, and he signed my copy of Lost Highway ^^ one moment I'll NEVER forget as long as I live.
Never trust a man who looks like a mime and practices Thelemic magick.

Amazing. I have the DVD. Now I want to watch it.

Now I know where that "I'm in your house, call me." line from Aqua Teen Hunger Force came from. Too bad movies like this don't exist anymore :[
