Yes it will fit because the Ipod touch 2G is the exact same dimensions as the 3G ipod touch. you can double check it on Wikipedia.

best screen protectors i know this might sound weird but my friends and i were playing horse shoes and when i went back with the horseshoe i hit my pocket on accident and there was a very deep cut into the screen and when i removed the screen shield my screen on my ipod was protected not a scratch on it i definantly reccomend this screen shield it saved my from buying another 16gb ipod

I would get a Switcheasy Rebel Touch with this. The bodyguardz probably wont offer any drop protection. So if your prone to dropping your gadgets i would get a case.

this is the best screen protector there is. I wanted jeffreee to review this but i dont think he remembers that i asked him to but that's ok, maybe others wanted him to do the same. But this thing leaves no finger prints unless ur fingers are really oily and it's thick so that if u drop it on sharp rocks the rocks wont even go thru the shield and touch ur ipod. It also uses static more then adhesive to get it on so it's really easy to take off.

the sgp optical enhancement film is better, and this will definitely not protect your ipod if you drop it on a sharp rock, most cases wont either

well no ive tried it, i dropped it on a sharp rock with a silicone case to test it and all it made was a little dent in the plastic on the screen protector but it didnt touch the screen.
