  • Marvin Gaye was a genius! And this song remains one of my favorites

  • In the words of Cleveland Brown. "Oh That's NASTY!!!!

  • ... this is just Excellent ...

  • Santana plays the SAME LICKS today.... fucking how many decades is this guy going to NOT GROW?!?!?! I can't stand him anymore, man...just a clown.

  • I lost this cool cassette from the mid 90's, thank you for sharing. I love this and saw Carlos in concert twice.

  • larry where.s the bass.man.

  • Wow, the first time I've seen Larry Graham without a bass!

  • Flawless performance....just flawless...

  • I've never heard Larry Graham singing before. I usually associate Graham with bass playing. Awesome!

  • @Seattlecarnut --Ironically, Larry's biggest hit was him singing without his bass. It was called "One In A Million"....a top 10 hit about 20 years ago.

  • @ricnros Really? I didn't know that. Why do you think that is? He does have a good singing voice.

  • @Seattlecarnut I tried to send you a link to to the song but I kept getting an error. Just type "Larry Graham-One In A Million You" and it will pop up

  • man santana had so much then. he just doesnt look right anymore.

  • so much soul in this music. man where the hell did it all go?

  • RIGHT ON INDEED

  • man those paul reed smith guitars have cool necks, a little fat and chunky looking but i bet you get great play with them.,

  • I'm still a Les Paul man even though the quality is slipping! You can still get a sweet Les Paul but you really have to try a bunch to make sure you've got a good one. The upside of Les Paul over PRS is that LP's are chunky pieces of wood so you get a deep woody tone. To me PRS tone is not as beefy. Mainly hot pickups is what makes the PRS sound. They're lighter and use less wood and I prefer vintage tone over hot pickups any day. But I can see myself having one of each.

  • larry graham (vocals/bass) + santana (lead guitar) > sex

  • Damn!! This guy sings just so COOL!! Larry Graham for real is THE MAN!! He is so fucking awsome!

Nice Santana's guitar rifs and solos!! xD Nice video!! :D Yeah!! :D

  • WHAT A VOICE!!! man, he can be lead singer or bass god or whatever!!!

  • Larry Graham seems like such a fun and pleasant guy I watched a video intitled Larry Graham super bass chopper technique something like that and he was so kind in this video that guy seems so fun to be with !

  • we all got pwned but still good singing

but people can sing and play Bass, too :D:D

    LArry, do that

  • Larry is great with Santana!! Great song!!

  • Great song! I know we're used to Larry slap-bassin' it, but this was good. I loved the audience participation/agility!!

  • the father of slap bass himself. XD

  • where the fuck is his bass?????????

  • i know.

i was so excited, i thought i was about to see a performance of Larry Graham on bass, Santana on lead!!!

  • lol, I was thinking the same thing!! I was like COOL! Carlos Santana AND Larry Graham!! OMGOMG! Then saw he was just singing..He is a great singer tho!

  • he sings fine, but his bass playing is ridiculously awesome!

  • Quick trivia. They are both Woodstock survivors.

  • Sing that Larry....!!!!

  • Nice song.. I love it

  • Two of my fav instrumentalist/singer writers etc. funny seeing Mr. G sing a more serious song again! (Bass4ever)and hope Mr. C gets back into the old school groove and stop selling out to the man!

  • Mestre Carlos Santana e Larry Graham, parceria perfeita

  • Marvin Gaye wrote this song for the "What's Going On" album...

  • Freein,

Cool, I'll check it out cuz I didn't see it here on youtube. Keep Free and Kool

  • Is that Alphonso Johnson on Bass..???

  • Yea that be "Slim" Alphonso Johnson "Enbamba" himself.

  • Very underated song...Glad to see that Santana and Graham performed it...

  • freakin sweet

  • thats ma boi larry!! funk on!!

  • These guys really know how to dress

  • Argh, I want Larry to play bass! :(

  • Francescok Yeah man Larry is a damn good bassist as well. After this jam, he played and sang "One in a Million" I must have it somewhere. Thanks

  • Why didn't Carlos let Larry play his bass? I bet it's because Larry would outshine Carlos and Carlos has too big of an ego for that.

  • No it's more to have Larry concentrate on his vocals.

  • Larry's sung and played bass for years, I'm sure he could have handled!

  • Great song from the Milagro album. This clip is from the Arsenio Hall show.

  • wow this is great andy nice one and very rare
