I don't understand something. PROUT is meant to be an alternative to capitalism and communism, but it literally implements a dictatorship of the proletariat (i.e. collective companies, state-run key industries, strengthening economic self-sufficiency, severely limiting private business). This economic theory could very well have been taken from the pages of Capital or the works of any famous marxist. perhaps it is meant as an alternative to Stalinism or market socialism.

also th good doctor should make more of a distinction between "poverty" in the new welfare state of america, where poor people can still get morbidly obese and have 2 cars, a cell phone and a new pool, and real poverty such as in africa and asia.

Why is it that you capitalize words randomly while trying to sound smart? And also why is it that you do not use punctuation? I understand what you are saying, and I believe it to be true to an extent. People only work menial jobs because they think that is what they are worth to society. The school system is a joke, and College is much too expensive for most citizens. However you do not even need to go to school to be successful, start your own business. Expand. Enjoy life.
And also what is wrong with paying taxes? I understand that the taxes is outrageous, but it is needed otherwise how will the government fund itself? We the people are in control not the government, but people are stupid and do not realize this. Most people don't even realize that some of the tax they pay is optional. The government is here only for protection as a LIMITED Government, but the people have become so ignorant they do not realize this. If only people would understand. If only...

Actually I agree, but he missed the mark by two decades. Six months is a long time in investments. ANY prediction will be right at least twice a century. He needs to work on his timing.
you are right on that one.. i read his book in the late eighties and it had a pronounce affect on me.. i kind of wished i had not and merely have stumbled through life.. however his book made sense to me.. as did what's next by paul irdman.. i hope what they predicted 20 years ago does not happen or no one will be that safe. take care..
