I don't know why but while I was reading the Ghastly comic I had some songs playing in the background and just as Kiki was being raped by a tentacle monster, the Cannibal Corpse song raped by the beast started. How appropriate.

I know this isn't a recurring theme throughout all of japan, but what I would like to know is, are comics/cartoons featuring rape by tentacle monsters accepted or considered cool in Japanese culture? Or is it kind of just left alone and no one really talks about it seriously like typical western society does?
