but i have no idea why my boldd 9700 is still running the same os5 without upgrading, it rebooted itself and i took out the battery and rebooted it too and it is still running os5... any idea why???

btw, im using T mobile bold9700, i deleted the two files too.

@bountypk1 if you did a back up like in the beginning of the video, run the blackberry desktop software and click devices then restore from the drop-down menu. then all you have to do is find the backup files which in windows xp: It will be located in my documents\blackberry\backup folder

@ToxicGaming007 because the OS file is for a specific network (Telus), so if u r on t-mobile or any other network then u have to delete the vendor file in order for the software to be installed on a non-Telus phone.
