Recieved my Iphone4 from O2 today and its the same. Hold the phone in normal way and it goes from 5 bars to 1 bar and loses 3G connection. Remove my hand and it goes back up to 5 bars. Sending it back and will use my Iphone 3G which I have loved!

@nepul its a hardware fault since the outer metal frame is an antenna and holding onto the device will effectively ground the unit making reception bad. Thou apple already has the solution, it's called a bumper. Be sure to pick one up soon
