  • SO CUTE.... gets closer... OMG WTF RUN!

  • SO CUTE!

  • The hell was that noise at the end? XD

  • screams like an angry six year old girl

  • it cuteness is over 9000

  • at first i thought it was nice and happy till its ears went back and i was like :( awww...

  • @Vermundor oh please, fennecs are loving creatures, so what if it got angry in the end, they're absolutely loving

  • @MrStickman1997 hes like ENOUGH GET THAT CAMARA AWAY FROM ME!

  • you people are idiots, especially flowcell!

this fennec fox is happy, not annoyed!

they make screaming and whining sounds when happy.

their angry noises are different, there's one video which shows their angry noises!

and also fennec foxes PREFER human contact, even in their sahara desert habitat, they wouldn't survive in such a hot, harsh desert, and killing snakes, which is dangerous

and if they bit, *sigh* seriously, you'd be seriously injured.

they nip LIGHTLY when showing affection.

  • i like how it's all "purr purr purr purr ... pay attention to me ... purr purr ... HEY FUCK YOU THEN!" bossy little things.

  • omg he/she is sooo cutes and at 12 seconds in it looks ten times cuter. I want one so bad they are so cute with their big ol ears and cute lil noises. the squeel at the end is hillarious.

  • Basically, if you hear a noise from a fennec that a dog would make while sad, that probably means the fox is happy or excited. They're a lot more vocal than dogs, and have a much wider `vocabulary` as it were. They communicate less with their body and more with different sounds.

  • Lol why did it freak out at the end?

  • @AbbyRoad13 I like to think that was him saying, "Somebody PET ME, DANG IT!" lol.

  • @AbbyRoad13

That entire display was a fennec asking his owner to go away because he wanted to sleep. He got frustrated at the end, which is why he freaked out. His owner wasn't listening.

  • О господи я ХОЧУ ЕГО *_________*

  • "GET OUT!!!"

  • he souds pissed

  • My cat acts just like this >.<; ALL THE TIME.

Whenever they're lonely they'll almost attack you to keep you around.

Tried to leave and my cat latched onto me and only let go when I stayed right beside it o.O lol

I love how fennec foxes make that high-pitched squeal when they're happy, it's so cute!

  • 0:29

    lol

  • OKAY JUST PET IT ALREADY TO CALM THE POOR THING DOWN.

  • love the expression at the end!

  • lol he's like love me.....love me Dammit woman love me!!!

  • I don't have pets and I never will. I consider these little guys as younger brothers or children.

  • that size dozent seem right it looks like you havent feed it for a wile

  • AWwww he just wants some pettings

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • he is the cutest little fox i have ever seen lol but why did he just flip out like that at the end hahahaha

  • @squeeky95 hmm lets see, the wild, where he could be eaten alive by a bear or captivity as a pet where people care for them and treat them with respect... which ones better?

  • @Speed12236 Yes. But natures cruel... Captivity is just... sad. I'm sure they would be happier in the wild. It would be like someone taking you and putting you in a place you don't belong. Like... putting you in the forest... with no friends or family with you... :/

  • @squeeky95 lmao Captivity is fucking awesome, damn u obviously abuse ur animals or something, damn I am good to mine, I give them respect, and maintain their happiness, fennec foxes just make weird noises that might sound like they are being abused but its their nature, stop being a tree hugger and go kill a deer or something

  • @Speed12236 Umm, how is it i'm a tree hugger yet apparantly abuse my pets? No. I do NOT abuse my pets.

And no i will not go kill a deer. How about you stop being a lazy drunk and actually care for wildlife? Yea. People say if we don't kill deer, we get overrun by them.

At least they wouldn't turn this world into some pointless mechanical piece of shit. I don't give if people think otherwise--it's my opinion. And humans are corrupting this world.

  • @squeeky95 ok, first of all, he bites him because its playful biting, have u never seen a dog bite playfully? thats what not having a dog has to do with this, its playful biting, ur taking it way out of proportion! Fennec foxes are easy to maintain, and he is happy, would you rather the fennec fox get caught and shot at point blank range for killing chickens or something? they provide him food so that he doesnt have to catch his own, I think that everyone should have a fennec fox.

  • @Speed12236 We have our opinions.

  • @squeeky95 yes, we do. But I have facts.

  • @Speed12236 Okk?

  • @Speed12236 hell yes lol

  • @squeeky95 and also, the pets have friends and family, they are out on their own anyways, and also we are their family agghhh u obviously never had a dog b4

  • @Speed12236 Actually, I have 4. Also 2 cats and 2 chins. but i find it strange how this fox bites that person???????

Yes. I learned that they do that when there happy I guess??? I didn't know that.

I thought the fox didn't like it, i'm more used to pets that I know what there feeling.....

And P.S. what does 'not having a dog' have to do with any of this?

  • @squeeky95 there are so many of these in the world that they are classified as "Least Concern". Taking from the wild isn't right by any means, but keep that information in mind.

  • ... He attacks you? lol

  • WTF happened at the end?!

  • i love how he went bipolar at the end...

  • Teto? From nausicaa? Such a cute name!

  • At first, its adorable and you pet it, the cute thing is all submissive,,

    then suddenly

    Omfgwtf he eats your leg!

    Anywho its so cute *o*

  • *Jaws Music* Fennec Attack! <3

  • coyotes make sounds that sound like they are being totured when they are happy or excited. i don't really buy into the animal would rather be in the wild alternately freezing starving attacked by predetors. Only big animals in small cages bother me. but these foxes are pampered and act like it.

  • Lol its cute in a "is that a happy or upset noise?"

Seemed pretty happy though so /shrug

  • Sounds like a baby crying and screaming to me....not "happy".

  • I'm finding these foxes don't have the "same" body language and sounds as we are used to with dogs and cats. I've seen lots of videos of foxes that look so happy, but making horrible or pitiful noises. I even used to have a dog that would growl at me when I scratch and pet him, but he would get almost upset when I stop by nudging me to pet/scratch him some more. Some animals just make noises for the sake of it. Foxes are not dogs or cats, so we can't expect them to be like them.

  • @LunarBerryStudio Dogs have different types of growling. Its the deep throaty growling with lips slightly or fully raised that shows an irriated dog or a dog that's ready to bite. And a dog that demands to be petted actually shows a dog who believes he's the leader over you. Most ppl dont know dog body language.

  • @nikigurl08 It, of course, varies with each dog. His growling while getting his back scratched was his"purr" as it was more a cooing sound. Granted we spoiled him, so it would not be too far fetched that he believed he could "boss" us. He would bring his brush, drop it in front of me and turn his back to me wanting to brush it, tail wagging. If I just sat there he would look back at me and get "barky". lol ^^ But he passed away at the ripe old age of 14.

  • @LunarBerryStudio

    - but generally laying on your back with your paws in the air is a sign of "pet me!!" :P

  • @MasterHypnose

That's true, but it also depends on the animal's personality, the rest of it's body language and the situation. Showing the belly is generally a sign of submission. Not that it's a bad thing, it's just to show respect of your rank, if they see you as "top dog", and trust. If they are scared/nervous, it's to show they are not intending to act aggressive to you, kind of like when someone puts their hands up when trying to avoid confrontation. But yea, some just want a petting :)

  • @LunarBerryStudio If they show their belly but don't pur, or squeak, then it's submission. Otherwise they just want a petting.

  • @keyking2 As I've mentioned in my last reply, it depends on the animal. I wrote it's "generally" a sign of submission, but can also be a sign of trust. This is the basic motivation irregardless of it's reason for doing it, cause it takes a lot of trust for an animal to expose it's weakest, vulnerable area to another. My main comment was towards those crying out abuse when they don't know the animal or it's situation, btw ^^; So I'm not disagreeing that this one just wants a petting.

  • @LunarBerryStudio Ah right, I get you.

  • they look happy and playful to me let them live the life they have

  • Fennec foxes are domesticated too, and breeded, just like dogs. So this animal wasn't taken from the wild. Also, fennec foxes have different body language, and I've heard that the squealing sound they make is not an unhappy one. It's akin to a cat's purring.

  • These are bred in captivity, if the owners let them into the wild, they'd die because they wouldn't know how to survive. If the person knows how to give them the basic, decent living style they need to be happy, then I don't see a problem with them keeping them, it's not cruel if done right. It's only with ignorant people that I'd be worried about. In the wild, they'd have less chances to survive. I've seen these foxes insanely happy with some owners, because they are cared for very well.

  • @cellochick56

I do believe you are a fool who knows nothing of fox, and in particular, fennec fox, behaviors. Not all creatures share the same exact methods of expressions, and the fox a prime example of such differences. Also, durrrhp durp durp.

  • @YunKaLala They are wild animals and i disagree with them being pets (even if they are breed rather than taken), but foxes DO make screaming noise when they're happy, red foxes do it as well.

  • @YunKaLala dogs were once wild animals. One however can argue the "wild" of a animal that has been captive bred for many generations. All domestics we once wild. It seems you are the delusional one. Perhaps you should look up fennec fox behavior before assuming the animal is unhappy.

  • @mikaila31 Good luck getting a moron to get a clue before spewing bullshit.

  • He was just GET OUTA MY FACE!

  • those screeching noises they make are scary

  • 0:28 what was that?

  • It is something fennecs do. They flipout randomly like that some times.

  • It's like... A puppy with super big ears and ADHD. With the personality of a particularly friendly cat.

It's adorable... I want one. xD

Prolly no chance though, for starters I don't think there's any vets nearby that would treat them, and I wouldn't want to risk something so small and fragile getting hurt, my dog's insane.

  • GOOD GIRL LAY DOWN!

  • 0:28 IMMA NOM YA! *noms ya*

  • :28; Put down that god damn camera and adore me!

  • good lord he got fed UP with waitin for that ear scratch.

  • lol would've out foxed me :3 so cute

  • He was a warrior at :28 xD

  • Aw, the poor thing!...

I know it's not, but if I were you'd I'd be the overly-protective parent who'd take her/him to the vet. And those noises are stunningly adorable. Is she/he always like this?

  • Fennecs usually make little whining or humming noises to show happiness or excitement. It's their version of purring.

  • oh em gee

  • D'aww. It's like "Okay, I'ma act real cute so you'll come in for a closer look *cute noises, on back* thats right..clooserr..cloosserrrr..okay perfect! *Attack* Raaaghh!"

    :3.

  • soo cuuutteee

  • love how it seems like the fennec is saying "ATTACK!!!!" at the end wen he squeels and charges XD

  • you can have these foxes where I live as pets. Fennecs are weird creatures and scream and bite when HAPPY, weird I know, it makes them seem like they're mad and upset. My father had one along time ago, it used to bite when it wanted to be pet LOL weird little creatures, but cute. They scream when eating something yummy too.

  • well if you did research they scream andsqueal and bite when they are very excited or happy, and maybe at the end he got a bit angry, but usually the ears fold right back.

  • Comment removed

  • HAHAHAH...what did you do to him in the end to get it all pissed off?

  • cuuuuute!!! that looks like my dog in a way!! lol

  • Those ears! Love it.

  • this is cute

  • That last part cracked me up.

  • Can you have these as pets at home

  • It depends on where you live. Most places in the United States either won't allow them at all or will require the owner to have a license issued by the state to care for exotic pets.

  • but in a few states, you can actually just keep them as pets. no license required, but if you want one you NEED to check up on this

  • subscribed!! adorable!

  • so cute

  • He's so furry and small, got big ears and a cute little face, love to lay on that bed with him and nuzzle his adorable face.

  • not getting petted even though it wanted to be they seem verey spoiled dont they?

  • whoa! lil bipolar fennec there!

  • a bit crazy but still the most cutest thing i have ever seen

  • aww so cute, then POW not so nice haha ^^

  • aww :] he is so cute! but what was that thing at the end?

  • I think he tried to bite the guy... From having a look at his blog I have this feeling this happens a lot, actually...

    Jumpy little fellow...

  • Usually Fennec Fox's are very good with people and kids, never getting bitey (the main issue being trying to burrow through furniture). But as with any animal, some are more aggressive than others, or could have bad days.

  • Aww....I know that it's not mad or sad, but it just sounded so horrible at the end...

  • It sounds pretty desperate for attention, hence the whimpering. Aaaww but soo cute though!

  • lol

    i crapped myself

  • wow ♣ J î

  • Love these sounds they make. How can they be so cute?

  • It sounds mad 0.0

  • LOL very AGGRO at the last moment ^^ but so SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

  • lol that reminded me of a poison headcrab attacking

  • do not wunt:D

  • i still want one

  • This is awfully mean.

I mean, the poor thing's craving attention and not getting any! Cruel, I tells ya!

Though I guess at the end there he gets fed up of being ignored. I'm no expert, but that scream at the end sounds pissed-off.

  • Does the word "humour" mean anything to you? Yeah, thought not.

  • I know, isn't it awful? How evil must you be to deny such a sweet creatue the love it so desperately craves?! If it continues to be so starved of affection it might dye its fur black and steal your Good Charlotte CDs!

Lol. It was all "Right, that's it bitch, pet me NOW!" at the end. xDD They're so needy it's adorable.

  • it reminds me of this annoying kid at school=)

    But no,cute vid!

  • When he rolls over and charges is soo hysterical!

  • omgso CUUTE

  • You can read its mind. "Pet me, come on, pet me, look, fluffy tummy, pet it! PET ME DAMN YOU!"

  • Ouch. First it lures the curious with its cuteness then screams and lunges for the throat!!!!!!!!!
