  • die hohe Schule mit bending, slanting ... echt Klasse !

  • Love it if you played the whole thing through, I enjoy singing along where no one can hear me.

  • Sweeeeet !

  • Man I love your style!

  • sweet

  • Fantastic. It's amazing how much your bends make it sound like you are playing a pedal steel at points.

  • Martin, this is one of my favorites by you ( I have listened to all your songs on YouTube . You are blessed with talent.

  • Just magnificant!!

  • soy de argentina amante de la musica "Country" este tipo toca espectacular

  • This is just Great ,love it!

  • Hallo !

Das gefällt mir aber gut !!!!!

    5*

    Hubert

  • wow, that string bending technique is pretty cool, i just tried it on my dobro and that is going to take some work :) it feels awkward and im getting all kind of noise from lifting up my damping fingers. thanks for giving me something to work on for a while

  • Oh! Very nice, I luv this Instrument. Nice played, Congratulations!

  • Doesn't get any better than this; phrasing, intonation, style. Kottke has nothing on you, or Jerry Douglas for that matter. Bravo!!

  • O Man!

    This is breathtaking!

How I can get the scores and minus play?

  • Martin,,i like the way you pull strings with your ring finger,,i,m going to try that on my lap steel,,i hope i can learn more with your videos,,thank you so much,,greetings....

  • Great Job, never heard this song before. Who wrote and/or did this song originally? Once again nice job!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • swamprocker57,

That`s a sad song written by Paul Seibel. I think most people know Leo Kottkes version.

  • leo's version is better!

  • I hope Paul Seibel has heard/seen this. I never imagined hearing the tune without the lyrics--magnificent! Thank you so much.

    WE

  • Hey! Isnt that cheating with that B bender thing there??? Thanks again....

  • You're killin' me, that's the sweetist thang I've heard in a long time.

  • Thanks for your reply re tuning Martin. Any chance of you making any educational DVDs? Or any chance that you give lessons here in the UK ever?

  • Love it! Thanks for sharing.

  • Very nice. I used to sing this very sad song (lyrically, that is) years ago.

  • Another real nice job on a great song, Martin. I really appreciate the camera view, a good clear visual of both hands, quite helpful for practicing along with you. Thanks so much for the great videos I hope you can keep them coming,Tom Christo

  • great picking and sliding you are an inspiration to new pickers !!!!

  • One of the greatest sounding dobros, and you style is very smooth.. I love it..Thanks Carl

  • hi, i want to know the tunning of your dobro!!! SIMPLY EXCELLENT YOUR MUSIC!!!!

    German.

  • Beautiful! Do you use any special tuning (i.e, take 2nd down a half step) for doing the string pulls or are you in straight GBDGBD?

    Geoff

  • Geoff,

thanks for posting. Glad you like it. For playing Louise I tuned the Guitar to GBDGAD. Second string is lowerd one note and you got to pull the string one note up.

    Martin

  • great picking, very smooth

  • Clean and tight. I was avoiding pulls and slants untill seeing this. Great stuff!!!

  • What a great song! Great Scherhorn!!

  • love the string pulls! Nice Scherhorn!!!!
