  • looks like a sunrise at 1:00

  • Great video and song. Here is hoping we make it from a type zero to a type one civilization :)

  • Like but music is crappy.

  • 3:36 Rainbow Dash's Atomic Rainbomb

  • quit smoking,

  • And we met again 240p

  • Someday, You hear a siren that makes you get frightened. Sundely, you hear a boom that makes you get daft. You see a light that is shiner than the Sun and you get blind. Your lungs blow by the air pressure. Your skin melts by the heat. As the mushroom cloud rises, a wave of dust goes for you at about 1000 MPH and cut even concret. After the light loose some shine, everything looks yellow. After 10 minutes, your corpse should be 100% infected by radiation. That's what US wants to do with you.

  • @lucaskronenbergen1 Well you've pretty much accurately described the effects of a nuclear blast on a human being and their surroundings... however I think the US would rather we were all alive somehow...

  • @lucaskronenbergen1 Listen FUCK-O just because you have a shitty ass life in Saudi-Arabia or some other shitbox. Doesn't mean you need to go hating. I don't approve of our government because all they're doing is pointing fingers but were the best we have a well funded well oiled machine of a military that took out Oh my god guess who you fucking hobbit OSAMA BIN FUCKING LADEN!! you wanna have your country do something about us good fucking luck!

  • @lucaskronenbergen1 And besides most countries try running their mouths at us and then the fucking second we show them what were capable of they say oh shit our bad! And for the record dipshit you'll see the flash before you hear the boom cause guess what light travels faster than sound! and you cunts say our education is bad take a look in the damn mirror for once before you go criticizing! now go ALLAHU AKBAR!!! yourself or whatever you fags do nowadays.

  • @chillmothafuka Man, you're surely patriot and may be even crazy. I was born and I live in Canada. I'm not from Iran or Iraq or even from Saudi Arabia (To your information, Saudi Arabia gives all its oil to the US). I made that comment to people understand how evil the US government is with it's people. Just look to the job's crisis, global warming and other stuff. I hope you understand this one day. And, by the way, Mr. Chillmothafuka: Your prejudice with people is really anoyng.

  • *insert Chuck Norris joke here*

  • @voncoolio My turn: Those explosions are Chuck Norris farts

  • JESUS FUCKING CHRIST WHAT MADE THAT EXPLOSION!? 0:50

  • @shookyourchildsface that was nothing search for Tsar Bomba to see wat is an explosion

  • Comment removed

  • old music was so much better super lame soundtrack *GAG*

  • From a 1950's US Army field manual.........." Nuclear explosions could be called one of the most beautiful things to witness in person, if not for their deadly effect."

  • Music definitely fits the occasion.

  • Great compilation. Well done.

  • Awesome!!! Great tunes too!

  • i <3 Nukes !

  • I like playiing Nin - We're in this together while i watch this vid lol (i maybe alittle sick in the head though lol)

  • dont atomic bombs only split like one atom each?

  • @Tropicsca No they split alot of atoms, converting matter into energy. A 15Kg plutonium239 bomb core ring can produce some of the bigger explosions you see here.

  • Mute this and play Spanish Flea for lulz.

  • i like the second song.

  • But some of those are francium bombs =[

  • I always prefer videos without the music.

  • HARDCORE

  • They look like giant Jelly Fish...

  • By all means scythelord if you really feel that way then why don't you help your cause by starving yourself?

  • WHY ALWAYS STUPID MUSIC WITH BEAUTIFUL VIDEO ??? I SKIP !

  • what the fuck was that ship doing in there?

  • @gman57op it was prolly going to be decomissioned anyways so they were like lets see what happens if we put an empty boat next to it... or they just didnt realize how big the explosion would be and everyone died.

  • @Stantonnk LOL

  • nice video!! you know the song "bodies" ?? you gotta throw that in here

  • It appears to be that time of the month for fertilizerspike

  • Great video compilation...

  • Also, what is this fucking OBSESSION with nuclear detonations? If you have something to say about one, say it, what's the point of this random goddamned compilation of big booms. Get a fucking life, idiot.

  • @fertilizerspike trololololo

  • Why do people insist on putting shit music on these compilations and slideshows, I'd rather hear nothing than this blaring fucking noise or the same two or three "eerie" soundtracks from Donnie Darko or whatever. Get a fucking life, morons, if you want to make a fucking music video, put it on Mtv, not here.

  • Blowed up real good.

  • when u see one of those think this "RUN BITCH RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!!" :)

  • mushroom clouds are beautiful things aren't they.

  • Sorry, what is this explosion? 2:05

  • EVIL

  • Thank you for having decent music!!!

  • @redwoodmountianwitch What are you talking about? This douchebag rock is just the butt rock of today. This music sucks. When it comes to intense mucic for explosions, try something tasteful and intense, like Piano Sonata No. 14 in C sharp minor, Op. 27, No. 2 (Moonlight). Helluva lot better than this wannabe disturbed radio format pop-"metal" bullshit. But, I guess everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Careful, though. Music taste says a lot about a person. I wouldn't go complimenting this.

  • @niqhtm00n quoted for truth at least someone has a brain

  • @luvtogothere Actually, it is not. That is an energy release of about 438 thunderclouds. There are more T-storms on Earth on any given day. By now, all the CO2 produced has been recycled into the ecosystem. The last atmospheric test was in 1963 or so.

  • 0:50 Holy shit, that was AWESOME!

  • for this america got money but to send some money to african children for that they got no money fucking shame your american culture!!!

  • @konjunktion26 the world does not need everyone to be saved from starvation, disease, and tragedy. We would overpopulate at such a stupidly horrendous rate that there would be massive, complete die-offs of large sections of the earth due to no amount of food being enough to feed everyone. Ignorance of that does no one any good.

  • Those weapons are horrifically beautiful

  • what is he white stripes near an atomic exsplosion?

  • @mr0loki0jr They're rocket trails sent up as reference points.

  • @ketsan I always thought they were part of the frames of the ground based bomb dropping rigs that vaporized outwards.

  • @ketsan no way i saw a video onece in slowmtion and i saw the sripes starting from above! and there was an austrailian atomic bom and there the tripes where going evrywhere !

  • @mr0loki0jr they fire rockets to make smoke trails with a certain distance from each other that they can use to find the size of the fire ball using proportions

  • Nuclear bombs are horrific, just seeing the blast directly melts your corneas, if not that you are crushed by the pressure of the blast, if not that you burn to death or are vaporised in the firestorm people would jump in lakes then run out of breath resurface and catch fire again. One day, if an asteroid or god doesnt destroy us, Atomic, hydrogen and nuclear bombs will..

  • @RoastSalmon93 God lol.?

  • @RoastSalmon93

    Hahahah. Yeah, god.

    sure.

  • @RoastSalmon93 youre so god damm rhit but thats what we do .... we blow stuff up for no reason so we invented war!

  • Imho would be better without the soundtrack. The screech of air being plasmised and the thunder of a fireball that can wipe islands of the map is far more poigniant that.

    *Boooom* LETS ROCK.

  • US default, bring it on :)

  • Btw,this must have drawn the attention of the Aliens ?!!

  • Disgusting!!!

  • heh now we know where the cancer came from ^^

  • I'd love to see one in real ;) would be so awesomez ;D

  • STUPIT HUMANITY...i hate u all u dumb motherfuckeeeeers!!if anyone would like to crush the government im with it.we need change...but not obamastyle or any style of these stupiddamnfuckers.

  • Another song after Mute would have been preferred.

  • Next Test = Nucleon BOMBS in OUTER space.

  • @ServingBongs It would have greater chances of EMPing our planet without an initial buffer. It would have to be REALLY far away for that to work.

  • Fancy fucking up the earth like this.

  • Can sb tell me why the most dangerous things are also the most beautiful?......

  • more than 2,000 nukes detonated and we are still here

  • its scary for me to think that at the turn of a key nuclear war could end human civilization

  • Nuclear explosions are overrated.

Plus, not all those explosions were nuclear. xD

  • what happend to the techno music with this same compilation?

  • Feels good knowing we've past an entire decade without a single nuclear bomb... Until N.Korea >_>

  • watch?v=9U8CZAKSsNA&feature=related

  • Why?

  • aww fuck it, looks like we all just wanna blow eachother up.... id rather get a a hot kiss and a good as fuck, but ..... dun look like the world is headed in that direction :S

  • I would suggest playing the song "All Hell Breaks Loose" by Immediate music, over the top of this video, fits perfectly!

  • I think the ones that dont form the mushroom clouds are the coolest. case in point 1:46

  • 0:37

  • This music is a fucked up as the bombs going off.

  • press 3 every second or so and you'll see a creepy face blinking at you =-O

  • I like this song by Drowining Pool, but if you mute it and play Escape by Garry Schyman from the album Bioshock 2 - Sounds From The Lighthouse instead it goes much better with the explosions. Just my opinion though :)

  • someone should give chuch norris a kleenex

  • good music..what is it name?

  • 0:51 aw shit...

  • it's amazing we didn't destroy the atmosphere or some such

  • awesome compilation :)

  • the most interesting footage that I see here is the examples extreme slow motion of the initial detonation of a thermonuclear device. How they were able to get this filmed I will never know. It's amazing, really.

  • 2:27 Doomsday

  • 28 dislike collateral damage...

How are we gettin' on with dismantling all these things, oh, wait...

Some nice countries are building new ones.

  • I can't believe we have weapons like that.........so........efficient, it's chilling just to watch.

  • @TheInvisibleWatchers Energy-wise they're very inefficient. But, yeah, good at killing :D

  • @ohyes247 it's plasma as the fusion reaction dies away.

  • At :30 and 1:22 are spikes reaching down the guy wires that secure the tower. The plasma raced out ahead of main fire ball down the cables towards ground... This gave rise to the study of focusing the energy release thru lenses that destroy themselves as the weapon fires, releasing focused beams of energy that can destroy targets on the ground from space. Multiple independantly targetable lenses on gimbals can destroy a number of ground targets all at once from one weapons burst. Just saying...

  • Shit for music, watched muted.

  • @thatsthesameoldshit This song is called '' Mute ''

  • @2011NewDubstep Yeah, the title is suitable :-)

  • AND BOOM GO'S THE, DYNAMITE!

  • I Think I Know Where The Ozone Went....

  • Dudeholy shit 0:35 why does it look like some huge ass gel of napalm in mid air.. freaky as fuck man...

  • @ohyes247 that was a hydrogen bomb... heavy element nukes and light element nukes explode in different ways... light element nukes leave shorter lasting fallout... neutron bombs vaporise anything organic leaving buildings and stuff alone... hydrogen bombs are incredibly hot and decay quickly... heavy element nukes have a long burn and incredibly long periods of decay and fallout (a.k.a.*durty bomb*) (durty bomb can also mean a conventional bomb mixed with chemical or biologic additives)

  • @CorazonSierra i knew it was a hydrogen/thermonuclear weapon i was just like its how some of em look its freaky as hell

  • @ohyes247 that's the internal bits of the bomb and it's casing turning into plasma, plus some gas plasma being produced from the atmosphere. Interesting to see at 0:30, those leg things coming down are actually the steel guy wires holding the towers up (on which the bomb was mounted) being turned into more super-heated plasma. All in the blink of eye... this is a super-super high speed bit of film.

  • @tommyboomboom more guy-wires being frazzled at 1:23

  • what is it with you fags that have to add this shitty music

  • Since I didn't like the song, I muted it and played the 20th Century Fox intro followed by the main title theme from A New Hope. Man, it was killer!

  • you should re-upload this with the song "right before my eyes" by cage the elephant

  • Why do people use music from Drowning Pool or 009 Soundscape and then use the phrase "cool music"?

I'd rather listen to Gilbert Godfried screaming the lyrics to Lady Gaga's Pokerface...

  • ...and TSAR for THE END of the WORLD........

  • I remember this video with different music like a year or so prior to this upload date, any idea what that music might have been? Its the same exact video.

  • 2:04-2:42 is broly going legendary super sayin thumbs up if you agree

  • beautiful!!! but next time, you may want to put some 50's music instead of it...

  • Gay music

  • " I have become Death, The Destroyer of worlds" Oppenheimer said. Man is not up to the task of handling,or even knowing the secrets of fission or fusion, but that is only the beginning. Like we came up with the solution to solve disease maladies, there is a new form of energy just waiting, lurking for the Prince oof darkness to introduce us to. he won't be happy until we kill all of us. he has a Ruler though, God will not suffer it to happen, we are still here. HE has another plan!

  • parents think we dont need fireworks just wait till we get our hands on these

  • thumbs up if the song radiation would have been more appropriate

  • What exactly was gained by these weapons tests? How have they helped mankind? The people who made and tested these weapons have committed crimes against every human and living creture on the planet now and in the future, yet noone holds them accountable.

  • @iluvmx1977 Just try considering both sides of the coin. No more world-scale war conflicts since the nuclear weapon developed. Remember dozens of millions victims of WWII.

  • @klavesin yeah i remember, used on two cities in japan, indescriminately killing women, children and innoccent people. was it because the japanese where going to win or was it payback for pearl harbour?. nuclear weopons played no part in ending or deterring any other war, correct me if i'm wrong. the Germans defeated themselves when they went to russia and stayed the winter!, tthe vietnamese kicked americas arse well after most of these nuclear tests and the war on terror still rages on!.

  • @iluvmx1977 hey did you pay attention in history class? the reason we dropped the bomb was to save millions of Japanese and american lives because japan refused to surrender even though they were losing terribly and we got revenge for pearl harbor during an air raid on Tokyo. it was not revenge it wasn't because they were winning we were wining it was so we didn't have to invade mainland japan and end up killing many more than the nukes did so maybe you sir need to think before posting please.

  • @GushChew you are a dumbshit, i was being sarcastic when i say 'was it because the japanese were going to win', you must be a bit slow!. the fact that they were going to lose makes it even more obvious that it was payback and the first 'real' nuclear test. you. i believe the real reason that you americans never took japan in a ground war is because SIR, you would have suffered great casualties, vietnam ring another bell?. you got your ass kicked there!

  • @iluvmx1977 im asumming you are from the UK. stop your bitchen we have your back. and if you are from the UK i thank your governent. how was the royal wedding? sorry we had to kill usama bin laden when that was going on.

  • @sturgispunk no, i am from Australia, the poms fucked us over in gallipoli aswell. our commandos were amongst the first into iraq and won battles in vietnam and new guinee when out numbered at least 10 to one (kakoda trail), our soldiers are reguarded as amongst the best in the world,(and our dollar is 10 percent higher than yours too, sorry to rub it in). the US has never had our back(although they say they do we have not needed it) and in fact has dragged us into every war they have had.

  • @sturgispunk it took you nearly 10 years to get bin laden, a saudi trained by the cia!. the US created and funded/supplied him weapons to fight the Russians.FACT. youve got the bomb! great, so do many countries around the world, especially china who are crushing your economy. killing bin laden will help a troubled barack obama in the poles, good timing. has your country found the WMD's yet?. great intelligence!!. I will always be against nucear weapons, i think they are for cowards. NEXT!!

  • @iluvmx1977

a;so its very hard to tell if your typing sarcastically and i dont know when we started talking about the space race or Vietnam. the only thing you were right about is the Vietnam war and its very very hard to fight a guerrilla army moving in striking fast and getting out. killing a bear with bee stings.

  • @GushChew good luck with your history lessons, i know enough to know that america has been wrong on many occasions. your government is the most corrupt and dishonest democracy the world has ever known. jewish puppets and crooks. "our boys are in the water", "weopons of mass destruction". god will need to bless america. when kennedy said "we will go to the moon" the rest of the world thought good riddens to those fucked up yanks, there moving to the moon! sadly your still here.

  • @iluvmx1977

4 things: first what do the Jewish people have to do with Americas government? you are a very sad angry man or woman IDK which and you are very racist you seem to hate america very much for unkown reasons. . second most all governments lie and only tell one half of the story i trust my government to do the right thing. third you are representing your country very very badly . fourth i said we did not invade to save lives that means Japanese and american lives we

  • @GushChew Like most people i am a working class man. i do not like politics or polititions, i do not like war mongers, i do not like rich jewish bankers. i do not particularly believe in any war that the united states has taken part in. i hate the taliban, al qaeda and any terrorist groups, and do not believe in communism. i do not follow any religion, i keep an open mind and question everything. it is my right to do these things. you love america, i love planet earth. FUCK NUCLEAR WEAPONS!!!!

  • @klavesin oh did you mean the side of the coin where they set the ozone layer on fire and it burned for weeks? or the tropical island natives they radiated? maybe the millions of Americans affected by fallout or the fact that every living creature on the planet got radiated in some way. you should remember the 6 billion plus victims that live in a radioactive environment and the fear of nuclear weapons threats from North Korea, and hey it didnt stop 9/11. remember to think before posting.

  • @iluvmx1977: Well, first of all, most all of them are dead. The weapons provided a balance where an imbalance would have meant, at a minimum, loss of freedom. The testing provided knowledge about physics (how the sun works, for example), and enormous knowledge about high energy physics. They facilitated nuclear power, which will likely save us from cooking the planet to death. As you feel you have to ask these questions, I think learning about them would do you a world of good.

  • @puncheex To say that nuclear weapons facilitated nuclear power demonstrates that you are the one that needs to learn. both process' although to uneducated simpletons seem the same are completely different. in no way do power stations use the same technology as used in weapons. we have other methods of power such as solar, wind and hydro that could replace coal. fukushima proved once more that nuclear is unsafe. lastly, we are insignificant compared to the sun, knowing how it works is useless.

  • Comment removed

  • @iluvmx1977: They are both technologies based in nuclear physics. Basic science learned in NP facilitated both, but the bombs were the earliest manifestation, and the most easily repeatable, so lots of early NP experiments were carried out in bomb testing. And I'll posit that learning science, even science about a body we'll never step foot on, is never worthless; if fusion is ever harnessed, we'll have the inspiration and example of our sun to thank.

  • I don't know where you think your nation will be getting power in the next 50 years, but it will only be one of two: coal, or nuclear. I personally use solar out on the farm that I've retired to, but that in no way covers for my share of the national infrastructure, which will never be solar. If you think otherwise, then you need to think deeper.

If you want to continue this discussion, I'm willing, but only if you leave the insults in the box. They are only in the way.

  • @puncheex i understand your point of view, but politics not science stops alternative energy from being reality. companies like Dupont and oil companies that control the wealth do not want alternatives to their monopoly. The answer to global warming is Hemp Farming for natural resins and fibres which will and can replace plastic and make bio fuel. Also battery technology should be an area of more scientific research along with electric motors and more efficient solar panels.

  • @iluvmx1977 if half of every roof in the western world consisted of tiles or sheets that could produce solar generated electricity and store it in batteries that have higher efficiency than we have now i would argue that we could generate enough power to be self sufficient. problem is that the people who want this technology do not posses the wealth to research it. Greed, Power and Religion will destroy our world. until we all work together for the right cause nothing will change.

  • @iluvmx1977 The budget and manpower spent on these weapons would have been better spent on clean energy research. nuclear isn't clean, it has highly carcinogenic by products. FACT. we have a perfectly good nuclear reactor that we can harness, its a safe distance from earth, God (or whoever) put it there for us to use. we don't need one here on earth. the design is perfect. I understand your point of view but to my mind it is wrong, you are an intelligent person but we think differently.

  • @iluvmx1977 another possibility is the vast areas of desert the world has, unsuitable for crop farming and would make perfect places to build giant solar power stations. as I said before, the problem then is storing this power or transporting it over large distances, very difficult but not impossible. we currently don't have the technology to do this but I am sure it is more achievable than Cold Fusion. giant batteries carried by electric trains?, super condutive cables? whatever! its possible.

  • @iluvmx1977 Solar power plants don't even have to be based on solar panels, they can be steam driven turbine power (the same as nuclear). parabolic lenses/mirrors can heat to amazing temperatures, the possibilities are endless. nuclear is the easy way. solar is the right way. less time arguing and more time researching and refining. I have not even began to talk about thermal energy, harnessing the Earth's core. Please share your ideas, why is none of this is possible?. am I wrong?.

  • @iluvmx1977 Yep. The "Heat Ray" was invented by Archimedes, WAY back when, and they didn't have the shit we do now :D. Plus, fusion is possible, but current scientists keep trying to use direct heat, which isn't the right way to do it.

That aside, it is both the monopolies AND the scientists who get in the way. Everything has been standardized. What we need are revolutionaries, like Tesla and R B Fuller. Of course, we still have the monopolies to deal with ;>_>.

  • @infamus15 Finally someone who can back me up against these war loving pro nuclear television believers. I love big explosions, don't get me wrong, the sound and sight, spectacular no doubt. but when very large and dangerous fireworks have the potential to damage the planet and every living thing on it I think we should think carefully. It's a sad world we live in when people live their life with their eyes closed, but instead of doing it quietly, they want to hurt others with their stupidity.

  • One of these gave me powers

  • and we made these to exterminate 1 an other.... ridiculous

  • @Ollied Naa, once aliens show up, these weapons will be waiting for them.

  • @yellowmetalcyborg

nah aliens are always immune to these... cue evil laugh, just makes them stronger and more melty

  • thats what happens when god lights his farts

  • I heard that during the time these bomb tests where going on there was alot of UFO/alien activity. Its as if the aliens were thinking " Oh shit, the kids have found the matches..."

  • @GunnyZoSo damn thats deep

  • @GunnyZoSo They were thinking "Okay, who farted? "

  • @Jeroenske They blamed chuck norris

  • @GunnyZoSo I'm no conspiracy type of person but lets say your be-bopping through space checking out planets for resources, you can be sure energetic materials like Uranium will be of importance in specific applications regardless of technological advancement. So here you are cloaked up looking around and suddenly DING DING DING you have a hit. Wait a minute thats not a natural depos.....FLASH.....and here you thought you found a treasure trove of ore.

  • @GunnyZoSo Now all we need is some Naquadah, and they're all gonna start shitting bricks :D.

  • @infamus15 *sighs* technology like such shouldn't be in the hands of such a young race like ours. I like stargate to though =)

  • @GunnyZoSo Richard Dean Anderson is one of my heroes :D.

  • @GunnyZoSo Someone's been watching youtube documentaries and quoting ppl :P I see what you did there.

  • @NoNameSlim No moron, not youtube documentaries. Documentaries that originally made by Nat Geo and are uploaded to youtube. Besides don't hate cause I got more thumbs up than you.

  • @GunnyZoSo Lol really? I'm not hating calm down kiddo. I'm just saying, I think I seen the same documentary you did (where you got the quote from). Sit down, take a few deep breaths and watch the way you talk to me kid, that was unnecessary. And in no way was I going for thumbs up, if I was that kind of person why would I post what I did. Maybe you are the moron.

  • @GunnyZoSo Why do people like you always jump to conclusion and go off talking dis respectful trash to people? Low self esteem? Seriously, calm down little guy. Think before you type.

  • How could you not like these things?

  • for a nuke ist not thet big compared to the tsar bomb

  • is it just me or r these things folkin scary

  • I dont think 1:45 is an atomic bomb but at 2:40 thats insane!! How did they even get an aircraft to fly through all that flying debris???

  • @hihello400 Some pilots are pretty crazy apparently.

  • The music sucks but the footage is awesome, in a higher definition than the usual nuclear explosion footage...

  • I think i'm blind now... WWWWHHHHHHHHYYYY!!!! MMMMMEEEEEEEEEE
