i've watch Predators the new one by Robert & Nimrod and it's really good!!! I think they were brave and creative to direct the attention to a different type of preds instead of the classic one and we get to see their pet dogs and all. the story was solid too. I would love for them to do another one!!!! I'm gonna go watch it at the big screen again!

I don't understand why people find that new Machete trailer so offensive.The majority of the people who are taking the trailer in a bad light, are people who aren't even fans of his films. Robert Rodriguez is taking his Grindhouse trailer, which is a parody of old 70's & 80's exploitation films, and bringing it to the now, everything is attended to be for laughs and fun. It just so happens that some of the material included in the film is now something of a reality, but I believe he'll fix that.

There is no person on earth who can be as convincing as arnold was in the original predator .

His huge presence made the whole alien vs human fight believable.I feel sorry for today's hollywood really.

John mctiernan did a magnificent job with the movie, and how about alan silvestri's great background score .

They try to recreate a sci-fi masterpiece and we all know how that goes.

Predator and Predator 2 cannot be compared, totally different style of movie. They are both brilliant but for different reasons, only thing they have in common is the Predator character. I liked 2 because it showed slightly more about the Predator. I couldn't picture Danny Glover in the role until I saw him do it. AVP2R is the weakest movie of them all, even that gets better the more you watch it. I don't like the Predalien creature much. I'm looking forward to this one, hope it delivers.

Okay, AvP R had too many MAJOR characters if that phrases it better. Yeah, ya want there to be a decent amount of action in films like this but to the point where the audience can FOLLOW it and ENJOY it at the same time.

There were just so many characters to follow it thinned out things out to the point where I couldn't tell who was who. Kinda like if you're into boxing or wrestling (which I'm not) and there's too many opponents in the ring - too much stuff.

Yes, I found AvP to be the better of the two only because AvP R involved far too many characters. I got the impression they were trying to have as many people as they could in the film just to rally up the kill rate. I felt like they should've handed out a score card to the audience so we could check off who got offed first ... and by whom - an Alien or a Predator.

Just my view on it though. If you liked AvP R better that's great. Either way, looking forward to this one.

Nolan is a good director, but none of his films line up with a big budget summer gore fest like the Predator films were.

Also, Nolan specializes in good action movies with minimal CG effects, using them only when necessary. Perfect for a good Predator film. And Predator's success was never about being a "summer gore fest." The Predator franchise is not about gore, it's about psychology and suspense. Whatever gore is included is simply a byproduct of good storytelling. Too bad no one remembers it

Now the action in that film is good, but in Batman Begins it's lacking, in Memento it doesn't exist and in The Prestige there is suspense, but no action.

The man doesn't know how to direct hardcore action sequences of violence!
