Bowser certainly wasn't too hard. The toughest part of it is definitely the moving platforms over the lava right before you get to the final switch. I really enjoyed watching the player run through this level though...really impressive speedrunning and of course collecting all of the coins!

Making the game doesn't make you an expert at it. By that reasoning, it's impossible to create an impossible to beat game.

I'm confident that the way these demos are made is by a human playing the level normally, with the computer recording their actions. If they make a mistake, the computer can instantly restart and replay the level up to a few seconds before the mistake, allowing them to correct it. The result being a demo of someone appearing to have superhuman skills.

Do the blue coins at 0:12 actually serve a purpose for something ? Been playing this game a bit but I have always wondered if they did anything or were more important than normal coins. Sort of like the red coins to, which just give you an extra life. Seems so pointless to risk your life for some meaningless applause !

In Super Mario 64, and New Super Mario Bros DS, blue coins are worth 5 coins. Here, I don't know. They probably increase your score.

The blue coins are just like normal coins, they increase your coins by 1. The red coins give you a 1-up if you have a powerup better than the super mushroom, or gives you a good powerup for the level if you are small or big mario.
