Justice has it revenge... In the end Albert turned out to be a murderer, thief, liar and got hooked on drugs. Laura always been a thief and a liar but she also loss a son and a nephew and Andy loss his mom. serve them right after seeing how they treated this poor, kind, innocent man who never done harm to anybody and just wanted to be love and treated right, he's somebody friend, son, father and husband. Laura's so sorry, until she finds out and believe he's not Amelia father, then she's not.

How awful of Laura, Albert and Andy to make fun of somebody father, whether they knew he was Amelia father or not. Laura punch and bloody Nellie nose for making jokes about her pa. Albert was hurt that the kids joked about him being a bastard and not having a family tree and Andy ran off crying like a little bitch when Nellie told him about his mother being married to another man before marrying his pa. But they're standing there laughing and making jokes about this man with weight problems.

In the first school scene, where Laura accidentally started reading the wrong thing because she was chatting with Amelia, notice Melissa Gilbert (Laura) is trying very hard not to laugh, and Matthew Laborteaux (Albert) is cracking up right behind her. There really wouldn't be a reason for Laura to be laughing, though, so you can tell that these two kids must have been cracking up about something else in the middle of filming.
