I really like the fact that you took the time to try getting every aspect of this tune correct, like the diction. But if you are going to even attempt this, you need to make sure that you get all the diction correct and consistent, neither of which you did completely. Also, there has to be meaning. The whole time, I felt as though it was droning. There was little to no variation in any of the verses. To get this right there needs to be a sense of aching sorrow and riveting joy. Nice try though.
