Yeah, But I would also like to see a race where he gets out there again. With,,, a no problem car. I have been on a few threads where a pumped up VW takes a Mustng V6 or even a GT and bro let me tell you that you would have thought that they just beat a damn Ford GT or something. And did I mention that I would like to see him race you again? I would like to see him win. Sometimes that takes some positive goading. But its all good thats a fast car you got there.

you clearly don't know what you are talking about, yes you can lose traction on a 700 hp car on a highway and the gears are 3.55 even on fourth gear you can lose traction
just to clarify some things here the mustang did make 700 rwhp at 21 pounds but in this race it was running 16 pounds on pump gas which is not 700 rwhp like i said before just found out not long ago and the golf it is not a 4 cylinder it is a vr6 and was running 33 pounds in this race, found out because i saw a comment that the owner of the golf posted in another video, the mustang was runnig 275/45 drag radials which was not enough for traction

by the way, to add to this nice conversation of people, ANY car can go fast, only problem is 4 cyl cars cost a digusting amount before they are even decent, and normally at those high boost levels they are highly unreliable, where as you could drive a v8 on high boost as a daily driver.
You can buy 500+hp turbos for like 500bucks(holset ftwmofo). then it comes down to tune inj built internals (which are cheap as dogshit for a inline4) and a clutch. Clutch inj and tune ect are all things you have to buy on v8, and in some cases are 3x more. also some v8's need expensive/custom parts for turbo(manifolds) because there are few boosted v8's.
Here goes another lamer that has no idea wtf he talking about. The most basic complete turbo kits go for about 3500$ without tuning. which are FAR from 500+ hp you fucking moron. Any turbo setup that can push moron than 30 psi costs about 7-8k total with the tuning, now you havnt even counted ANY engine mods to make it survive that psi, nor any counter part mods, swaps, trany gears, chips, intakes exhausts, suspension, clutches etc etc etc... With muscles cars, simple bolt ons and your stacked.
I don't see the point in complaining, there really isn't enough info to make a decision. Although, if that mustang was actually running boost, they did a really bad job... A GT with boost if done right should run very good, it would make it extremely hard for a 1.8T/2.0T to keep up.

don't mean to be an ass. but you made some errors on your post for the video. gti's dont weigh 2200, try 2700 wet weight. i donnu if that gti really had 500hp but its possible, with a lot of work. im making 350hp on my 1.8t gti with a gt28rs setup. its unreliable as hell but then again my dad had a procharged 5.0 and it wasn't much more reliable :) Im a Vdubber at heart but I will always enjoy stangs.
i work on Vw's, I know whether its a aeg or vr it took a lot more to make the GTI get what it has than that mustang, not to mention the mustang ,if built right can handle way more power than the GTI. I love Volkswagens but,this is hard for import drivers to understand, American cars will always be faster. put a gigantic turbo on a F20c and hope to beat a mustang GT but turbo that GT bye bye big turbo honda.
actually VW was ranked one of the most unreliable in 05 or 06. My family is all german car mechanics and will confirm VW HAD a period where quality control was an issue. My friend returned his GTI so many times he finally traded it in and left with a killer deal on a 350Z. I had 95 jetta that broke every other day, so say they're better all you want, your a fucking tool, & that's your choice
A lot of this is due to the fact that its illegal to lay workers off in european car MFC's due to slow years (unlike Chevy) so when a bad year strikes tough shit for the owners cause the employees stay.

YES the mustang had 700 WHP when lost. before race had 1000 hp but after he lost went down to 700 WHP :) my VR6 TURBO 3.0L had 26PSI smallturbo but better turbo now.bruno nolies, let race,more videos for our friend here.show who is the lier here and let them know why you block me to post here , I have to keep openg new acount to tell them the thruth :)

well, like i said before he was on 16 pounds and pump gas when he raced you, it made 700rwhp on race gas and 21 pounds, and he doesn't have the car anymore, don't even live here anymore so thats done.
and my twin-turbo ( learned how to spell first ) still here not going to lie it is not running 9 pounds like when i race you, but like i said before don't fell the need to prove anything, i build my car for my own pleasure and to have fun, but you looks like you have to prove something

Yeah, But I would also like to see a race where he gets out there again. With,,, a no problem car. I have been on a few threads where a pumped up VW takes a Mustng V6 or even a GT and bro let me tell you that you would have thought that they just beat a damn Ford GT or something. And did I mention that I would like to see him race you again? I would like to see him win. Sometimes that takes some positive goading. But its all good thats a fast car you got there.

you clearly don't know what you are talking about, yes you can lose traction on a 700 hp car on a highway and the gears are 3.55 even on fourth gear you can lose traction

just to clarify some things here the mustang did make 700 rwhp at 21 pounds but in this race it was running 16 pounds on pump gas which is not 700 rwhp like i said before just found out not long ago and the golf it is not a 4 cylinder it is a vr6 and was running 33 pounds in this race, found out because i saw a comment that the owner of the golf posted in another video, the mustang was runnig 275/45 drag radials which was not enough for traction

by the way, to add to this nice conversation of people, ANY car can go fast, only problem is 4 cyl cars cost a digusting amount before they are even decent, and normally at those high boost levels they are highly unreliable, where as you could drive a v8 on high boost as a daily driver.

You can buy 500+hp turbos for like 500bucks(holset ftwmofo). then it comes down to tune inj built internals (which are cheap as dogshit for a inline4) and a clutch. Clutch inj and tune ect are all things you have to buy on v8, and in some cases are 3x more. also some v8's need expensive/custom parts for turbo(manifolds) because there are few boosted v8's.

Here goes another lamer that has no idea wtf he talking about. The most basic complete turbo kits go for about 3500$ without tuning. which are FAR from 500+ hp you fucking moron. Any turbo setup that can push moron than 30 psi costs about 7-8k total with the tuning, now you havnt even counted ANY engine mods to make it survive that psi, nor any counter part mods, swaps, trany gears, chips, intakes exhausts, suspension, clutches etc etc etc... With muscles cars, simple bolt ons and your stacked.

I don't see the point in complaining, there really isn't enough info to make a decision. Although, if that mustang was actually running boost, they did a really bad job... A GT with boost if done right should run very good, it would make it extremely hard for a 1.8T/2.0T to keep up.

buddy your obviously not very inclined in cars if you took that video seriously. that mustang definitely did not have 700 hp. Even if they would both have the same hp, the mustang would still go faster because its rwd, fwd cars don't pull as much power on straight strip.

don't mean to be an ass. but you made some errors on your post for the video. gti's dont weigh 2200, try 2700 wet weight. i donnu if that gti really had 500hp but its possible, with a lot of work. im making 350hp on my 1.8t gti with a gt28rs setup. its unreliable as hell but then again my dad had a procharged 5.0 and it wasn't much more reliable :) Im a Vdubber at heart but I will always enjoy stangs.

i work on Vw's, I know whether its a aeg or vr it took a lot more to make the GTI get what it has than that mustang, not to mention the mustang ,if built right can handle way more power than the GTI. I love Volkswagens but,this is hard for import drivers to understand, American cars will always be faster. put a gigantic turbo on a F20c and hope to beat a mustang GT but turbo that GT bye bye big turbo honda.

actually VW was ranked one of the most unreliable in 05 or 06. My family is all german car mechanics and will confirm VW HAD a period where quality control was an issue. My friend returned his GTI so many times he finally traded it in and left with a killer deal on a 350Z. I had 95 jetta that broke every other day, so say they're better all you want, your a fucking tool, & that's your choice

A lot of this is due to the fact that its illegal to lay workers off in european car MFC's due to slow years (unlike Chevy) so when a bad year strikes tough shit for the owners cause the employees stay.
