@Zimtstarli David Belle used to do flips and stuff in his films. Now he's more focused on useful side of parkour (repairing car or cooking for him is still parkour) rather than fun stuff. He understands people doing freestyle parkour, because it has the same freestyle core like skateboarding etc.

it was called art du deplacement at first then david renamed it parkour and sebastien freerunning. its the same damn thing. freerunning or parkour if you like have nothing to do with impressing people, and they are both about having fun and facing your fear. as the founders. they say its exactly the same thing just diffrent names.

@Zimtstarli I've been training for 1.5 year, but irregular and not intensive. I don't train acrobatics for crowd. I like running and passing obstacles, climbing like in assassin's creed, lower acrobatic (YT: Kadochnikov System - lower acrobatics in action), sliding, sneaking. I like parkour, which I can use in real situations, when I carry bag, backpack, things in hand. I like silent, fluid movement, doesn't destroying things I pass (furniture).
