ANN JILLIAN is my neighbor - I researched her and learned she is a 3 Time EMMY nominee and Golden Globe award winner for "Best Actress". My favorite was when she played the life story of "Mae West" and won awards. She comforts women all over the world and is a voice of hope for all women and breast cancer. She has a good looking son and she and her husband "Andy" are really nice, down to earth type of people. They are great neighbors. I think Ann was the big star of "It's A Living". I loved it!
@voyage2k Earl did play the chef Dennis Hubner in 1981-82 when the show was called Making a Living. Stahl joined in 1985 when the show returned in first-run syndication with it's original title.

You have the wrong actor. The actor who played the cook is NOT Earl Boen, but Richard Stahl. They do look alike, I will admit....

@kentgraovac You are correct. For some reason, Richard Stahl is not included in this. BTW, Howard Miller was the name of his character.
I loved this show! I wish some network would air it again.
