  • LEGAL...

  • hey... is that piece of hardware.... pretty much easy to learn on your own? how much is it?

  • Dude, don't plug the output into the headphone port! That's why you get the buzz and the left panning (which is called "mono" sound) and you also get the left sound cuz your using a mono splitter

  • te fuiste a la mierda en 3:00

  • WHAT A WASTE OF A 404'S ... THIS MACHINE HAS BETTER THINGS TO DO THAN PLAY YOUR SHITTY ASS MUSIC

  • i like the buzzing in my right ear!! that bits good!

  • @wrathallll Haha yeah I went a little experimental there

  • @tastelikekavinsbacon Get an MPC 2-5000. Its not at all the same as useing one of these. Comparatively the boss/roland sp series are toys and there is much more to know if you intend to operate an MPC correctly

  • Where did you get the clean vocals?

  • sp 404 is cool but lady gaga sucks

  • 2:57-3:28 = worst bit of audio ever heard.

  • @ichbingott4510 100% correct. Worst bit of audio I have ever heard. WTF was that effect called? Toilet flush?

  • 29 dislikes... You have haters. First sign of success.

  • @db0ywills Or the first sign you picked a song by an artist who is well hated to mess about with. Lady Gaga cross dresses as a man ya know. Due to her shnoz being as bent up and crooked as it is, the man thing fits her better anyhow. Next time stay away from Lady GooGoo :D

  • @sandmarch7 It's music. That's hatin. Who are you to knock the style or taste of someone else. You probably wouldn't complain about notorious sp users like Flying Lotus for remixing Lil Wayne or JonWayne for remixing Gucci Mane (who I believe are both signed with Stones Throw sublabels). It's music. Music is love.

  • @db0ywills Well the point I was making is that the MPC Is more capable and the quality of sound is much higher then the boss or roland sp's. Sps are aimed at the lowest bidder whereas MPCs are aimed at people looking to produce professional results. A couple artists can get away with using a toy but I believe the research will show that more pros use MPCs than Sps. 1 or 2 guys get out fruity loops and get someones attention but most people who use it cant produce a quality result

  • @db0ywills That aint hate, thats fact. Ask any of your favorite rap artists or pro studio producers which one they would rather use to bang out a hit. Im sure with the right compression, a great producer could make an sp do some amazing things. I would also surmise that none of them would pick lady GerBer as a first choice to remix lol :D

  • sick!

  • Why the hell did you turn the panning all the way to the left..? This annoyed the hell out of me to listen to

  • @blaichar it wasn't on purpose

  • @Mthw7 Oh okay, well besides that this sounded real good, props man

  • Nice ;)

  • c'est juste un plaisir a entendre...

  • @tastelikekavinsbacon YES! I got one of these a few days ago with a Kaossilator pro and they are easy to learn. However whether you crate anything good is down to talent and imagination and the kind of music you want to do. MPC's are a little more powerful in capability but are harder to use and get around that these, but still great and not just for Hip Hop - I've used mine for Trance and D&B. So, decide what you wanna make and get whats right for your budget and practice. Enjoy!

  • @tastelikekavinsbacon Yeah it really is. This was my first project on the sp 404 and I did it within the week that I got it. The manual really helps too. It's written nicely. Have you checked out the "sp forums"?

  • I don't understand what your doing. just looks like your pushiung buttons with the music.

  • @coketherealthing triggering samples

  • @coketherealthing O.K! It's just harde for me to see what's going on but I like what your doing. It's cool.

  • @coketherealthing

lol why are you watching this video? its a dj sampler .........

  • @kovam1812 For your info. I was checking out the Roland sp 404 sampler

  • yeah wooo thats awesome

  • Clearly a Gaga fan.. booo!! I think i'll go down a bottle of jack and then record myself trhowing up.. i bet i can sound just like her and sell millions of records afterwards.

  • @TheTweeker79 I bet you're right

  • where or how you you get the clean voice without bass??

  • @11PANIC11 I have them if you want them. It took me a while to find but I just googled it.

  • @Mthw7 Bro that would be great if you could send me some or if you could tell me where i can find them??

  • Haha cool man, what's the maximum length of one sample? maybe i want one too

  • @jornvdcb It comes with a 1 gb sd card so, one sample could be up to a wholo gb in audio. And even longer if you get a bigger sd card for it.

  • is that an acapella you sampled?

  • Question. Can you put any sounds you have on your computer onto the 404? Or does the sampler have only certain assignable drum sounds? I'd like to put some of the drum sounds I have from my current production software and don't want to be trapped with stock drum kits. Much thank, sweet acoustic version ha

  • @furiousflop The 404 lets you sample whatever you want. Including drums.

  • Thats hot dude! Would be great to see your talent and patients wid some heavey hip hop base tunes......Keep it real! Ya Boooyeeeeeee 4cheeeezzy

  • @PriddyTP thanks dude

  • @Mthw7 is the voice and acapella or did you take out the beats?

  • @Pejmoney I just googled for the acapella, which is just the voice. Not many songs have acapellas available though.

  • @Pejmoney you can buy vocal records wit no beats of alot of tunes then put in your own beats thats the beauty of sampling

  • From where did you get the vocals alone? Man, I just got an sp-404sx and this really inspired me to do something similar. I think this is Itunes-qualifying!

  • @Doogung Thanks! I don't think it's itunes good though. I downloaded the vocals from some random website. I just googled just dance acappella. Some artists release just the vocals or the instrumentals to their songs so people can make remixes out of them.

  • @Mthw7 Thanks! I'll try this probably with bad touch and maybe post it here on youtube. keep up the good work, very creative and original

  • sleep rmx

  • Sounds great! wow.... i gotta have one

  • Not a fan of Lady Gaga but this is a great mix. Good job!

  • that was class loved it. never heard a acoustic version of that before :)

  • @nicketeen1 Thanks nicketeen!

  • Very good man ;)

  • @Nobushiin Thanks man!

  • allot of reviews says you can put your own samples on it which u can do with the editor (software im assuming) that comes with it. But how can you transfer samples when there is no USB connection. Someone please explain this to me. thanks

  • midi or stereo outs, thats what ive used

  • @ELARROCK The SP-404 used CompactFlash cards for some of the memory, and the newer SP-404SX uses SD/SDHC cards for all its memory, just take out the card and throw it in a cardreader and you should be in business.

I'm only getting audio in my left channel on this video = really annoying!

Also i'd liked to see you chop the vocal-samples more so it would require more direct controlling on your part. No doubt a decent amount of work went into preparing this, and your timing is fairly impeckable!

  • out of all the songs in the world, you went with this he/ she piece of shit that cant sing. your music is good.you just look a little deeper into the music world and remix a good song.

  • @4444chad Thanks man. Sorry you don't like the song.

  • you've got an ugly nose

  • @robo2296 Yeah I know. Now you upload some videos!

  • @robo2296 wow dick. hit him where it hurts

  • @robo2296 you've got an ugly personality. guess noone is perfect afterall.

  • @robo2296 wayta go b a troll dude

  • roland rules dude! :)

  • good effort. to bad the guitar is off beat a bit at times.

  • @megakanon Thanks man

  • awesome mate .. good timing on those trigger fingers lol

  • @ohhhREALY Thanks!

  • where did you get the single samples from? self recorded?

    btw sound very good!

  • Yeah, I just recorded the chords from my guitar and looped them as in time as I could get them.

  • @Mthw7 and the vocals?

  • I just downloaded an acappella version from the internet.

  • btw thanks!

  • Comment removed

  • Why's it all panned to the left?

  • @ChumpJoe haha. I just didn't plug my cord all the way into the computer when I recorded it.

  • Real good man!

  • nice edits

  • sounds good

  • hey this might sound dumb but how did you get her voice off the actual song?

  • I didn't. I just downloaded it.

  • parabéns... very god

  • Excellent. Brilliant job.

  • Sounds good! Did you already debut our weezer cover?

  • Yeah. And Ryne did too. It's been debut-ed twice.

  • I could tell you were having a good time turning those knob things haha. That was pretty cool though MEAT!

  • Yeah. I'm gonna debut it on the face soon.

  • Sick remix!!!!!
