The plane looks cool but I question whether or not the small engines on these type if aircraft have the power to pull you out of a bad situation due to the wealther or pilot error. If you lose control spin or dive or if your landing approach is bad , can this engine give you the power you need to pull out or correct?

Any aircraft can be flown into a situation where no matter how much power you have it will be unrecoverable in fact with more power it can mean it just happens more suddenly. They there is the issue of power to weight ratios, stall speed vs cruising speed, stalling characteristics etc etc.
Your question made the assumption that more power is always the answer. My response was to get you thinking
engine cc and hp...and weight and prop specs please its my dream to build a homebuilt...and im wanting to help understand and get an idea of my options for power plants
