okay, i think everyone needs to admit, no one really knows who did it first, technically it should be a "keanu reeves" move, after all he was the first to do it in the matrix. realistically, it's no single persons move, it's just "a" move that many people can do. but to tell the truth i havnt seen ciara do it till i saw this vid, where as ive seen beyonce do it many times live and in vids. just an observation.

@ElNenuelas i agree.ciara did it first in her goodies video in 2004.then over the years she started to get lower and lower.in heels and sneakers.she did this move way before beyonce.she does it way better,just like MJ moonwalk was his signature move,the matrix is ciara's.plus she did it in more videos(music videos/performances) i never seen bey do the matrix.plus she doesnt even do it that good.

@eternalsilverlight I just saw a couple of videos of Leyomi doing it. Leyomi's knees touches the ground while Ciara's doesn't...even when Ciara went her lowest (2007 BET Awards), her knees never touched.
