I don't think I'll ever understand why people like this game. It's a piece of shit. The controls and level design flat out suck. Miyamoto admitted the game was rushed so that it could be released with the SNES and it shows. It's a very sloppy, lazy game. Miyamoto was disappointed in it and so am I. And I love just about every other Mario game.

Well if you go into one of the Star World levels and find the key hole then it will lead you to the Special World levels. If you beat all the Special World levels than all the maps from each world will change colors, the koopas will wear Mario masks and the piranha plants will turn into pumpkin heads and other enemies will transformed. Oh the second level in Special World is the hardest level ever. There are 96 levels in Super Mario World.

all u get for beating those very hard hidden courses is koopas wearing mario masks and birds replacing bullet bills. how bout an endurance mode where u play the game again but the levels are harder

SMW totally crushes SMB3 IMO. After playing SMB3 on the VC, I wasn't that impressed with it. I guess it's just one of those games you had to be there for to like it. I prefer SMW hands down. One of my favorite Mario adventures (next to 64 and Galaxy).

There is nothing that needs to be said about this game, its that good. I prefer Super Mario Bros 3 cause it has more but more powerups but 96 levels???!!!! HELL YEAH!!!!
