@dgjiephfurreighR What do you think the should sing? Words? This isn't a cantata or a choral. Its an organfugue. Amazing effort. It swings exellent and Bach was the first jazzmusicians. He IMPROVISED fugues after given and/or created subjects by himself.
For those that say its slow, I believe the original is marked crotchet = 92. Its the G minor fugue... someone can look it up and correct me if I am wrong.
It's very good, but its a little slow it sounds like it's bieng sung at 90 or 95 it should be sung around 120 when its slower it doesn't sound right, but aside from that its very good
Good Job, sounds great but as a tenor im deeply upset you can barely hear the greatest part in the song other than the sops. the tenor part in almost every song holds together the other 3 parts, and in older composed peices of thier time, tenor voices were the prized possesion and music often focused on them, so having the basses overpower, or the tenors singing under the other parts, is not only disapointing but historically in accurate. Otherwise i liked the energy and 'diction' keep going, GL
so intresting, it's genius. most classically trained directors would never perform such arangements, one i know in particular only performs music as it was intended to be writen.
Great Job! My choir didn't do so great on this piece. Mainly cuz the teacher wanted to take it to fast n it just didn't work out. U guys do it a bit slower n it sounds really clean n nice! :-)

i don't like the "duba duba" This piece was not meant to be a jazz piece.

Oh lighten up puritan it was good fun! I'm certain Bach would have approved.
You try getting all the du-va du-vas in the right place and order!
I think the Swingle Singers do a version identical to this.

@dgjiephfurreighR This particular performance is not a jazz arrangement so I don't know what you're talking about.
