1. of all the fans on the back PUSH out air not suck in. with the intercooler attached it blows the hot air back into the xbox which can over heat it more.

2. with intercooler attached it strains power on start up which can lead to malfunction on parts not getting enough power on start up which can cause red ring



intercooler sucks, had it for about a year, i turned it on one day and played for 30 mins and the intercooler melted my ac adapter/power block cord to the intercooler itself, warranty doesn't cover this problem and a new ac adapter power block is like $80 bucks it's bullshit. Honestly Microsoft fuckin sucks i've had so many problems with my xbox, that i'm about to sell it =(

theres not much you can do man...i mean you can take it all apart and put thermal cooler on the processors or whatever..under the coolers...then replce the regular washers with rubber ones so it dosent scrape and stuff idk..then you want to unplug the fan keep it unplugged and make it so the xbox overheats it will still blink 3 lights but wait until it is 2 lights..then turn it off put the fan back on and put the wind thingy on..and it will work..theres a tutorial of this on a channel on youtube

an intercooler that is plugged into the power does more damage and more RROD. There is intercoolers that wont have to go through the poewr...if you are going to use it that is the way to go...however you do know by using an intercooler does void out your warrenty...any third party stuff does.

if this is ur second time getting the rrod, dont bother trying to fix it, it wil just break again. my suggestion would be to buy a new one. preferebly an arcade cuz then u wont be wasting ur money on a pro when u already have a harddrive ready to use. also so this doesnt happen in the future look up on this website: Xbox 360 Arcade Jasper. it will tell u how to find a xbox 360 unit that doesn't get the rrod. hope this heklps =D

pro: it has a silver dvd drive and a 60 gb hhd.

elite: its all black and has a 120 gb hdd.

arcade: everything is white and has 256 mb internal memory. but since u already have a harddrive u wont need a nother right? oh and yeah eveything else about it is the same (like graphics)
