The beta is only for Xbox, when the real version comes out Harmonix will try to get it for PS3

@HoosSpeeking RBN will not be launched for the Nintendo Wii, at least not yet. Who knows what the future will hold. But HMX have said that they will filter RBN released songs for download on both PSN and Wii.

This wont work...your telling me everyband is gonna buy this program, then not only do what it takes to record an album and go on tour and spend time with their families that is already limited then there gonna sit down and actually make a song so maybe a couple of people can enjoi their song on rockband.....sorry doesnt sound too promising i wish they would just stop wasting time with stupid ass songs like e-pro and whatcha want and make good songs by the artist

@motoxjoe I think it's a superb idea, it will allow unknown bands to get some publicity. Plus there is already a great list of bands making songs for RBN's launch. The band themselves don't need to do the processing, there is already teams making RBN songs for other bands.

Think RBN will be huge actually, a great way to get your band earned at a reasonable cost.

i think it will. and not only band can create songs on here. normal ppl can join and put real songs by famous bands on here, and the fact that the stuff they put on here will be from other ppl and not harmonix is good because different ppl have different opinions on music, meaning more music of more genres.

They've said that PS3 and Wii versions will be getting this feature eventually as well, and I REALLY hope that is true. This was just another reason why I should have got a 360 instead

the only reason to get a 360 is left 4 dead 2. dont you see, microsoft is sooo desperate for some descent games/ content that they do stuff like this. they are delaying certain songs from ps3/ wii and pushing the date for ps3/ wii further back so they have an advantage. It's a good system and all, but when it comes to exclusive stuff, they're not too good. thats why i got a ps3. if sony or nintendo teamed up with harmonix, they wouldnt delay the other systems songs or release, they'd be fair.
