I wish someone would post the old blue and purple feature presentation trailer. It was the one that said "You are about to experience a movie the way it was meant to be seen, and heard. And now our feature presentation". The used a modified version of it to promo the movie "Young Einstein".

Well, Eddsworld (Also known as Edd Gould in the real world) is a British cartoon maker who's popular all over Great Britain, and his popularity is spreading to Youtube and the World. He was featured on BBC News, and the tv/e Climate Change website. He has a comic book out called "Toaster Brains", he's almost popular the world over. He was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Despite his crappy health, he still makes animations. But anyway, hope that got through to ya!

It's so funny that when this came out, people were complaining about it not being as good as the older Clip trailers, or those whose old theater got bought out by AMC. Now we got this even worse yuppie trailer that poorly announces the feature presentation with those three adolescent dicks. My advice: don't take policy trailers for granted. A few years from now AMC will have a new trailer and you're gonna beg to bring "Magic Chairs" back.

I like the "clip" intros as well. But there was an older one before this ('98 or so). Clip was reading notes off of a music book. Then one note squeaked, dangled and feel off the page followed by the rest. Clip blew all of them in the air to make the feature presentation. That's my favorite!

I work at an AMC and I personally HATE the new trailer with the 2 girls and one guy sipping their Coke while being taken away to some alternate universe. Clip was so much more of a classic. Now I feel like I'm watching a bad horror remake in a company trailer. I, however, can say that not all the auditoriums changed the trailer. The digital theater still has the Clip version.

Interestingly enough I left amc a few weeks later after I said they changed the trailer (No that isnt the reason I left lol) and I worked at it from 03-june 09, so ths trailer will always mean to me when I worked at amc, a shame that people goin to amc now wont hear the cool ,usic from this and the old coming soon one. Also I myself haven't seen a movie at AMC since I left (6 years, I need a nice break from amc in general).

I saw that new, "Clip"-less trailer at an AMC a couple of weeks ago for the first time and absolutely hated it. The trailer, if you can even call it that, had no character, no energy, and did not even announce that the feature presentation was coming up next. Also, for some reason, the trailer seemed dated; it seemed like a somewhat-cutting-edge trailer from the late 1980s or early 1990s.

I work at AMC Katy Mills 20 in Katy, Texas, and it took us a while to get the new trailer, but now that we have it, I have to admit, I miss this one. The new AMC trailer is completely devoid of personality because it's the first time since like, 1991 that Clip hasn't appeared in one of our policy trailers.

AMC is quickly going the way of Regal, losing the cool policy trailers and opting for faster, more generic trailers.

Same goes for Cinemark with it's "Super-Duper Mega Digital Sound" whatever they say on their sound racks as I sneak up their projection booths from the top part of the stadium seating.
