i was a child bullied everyday in elementary and jr high, I was afraid to go to school everyday for 5 years. I would cry every morning on my way to school. I couldnt tell my parents cus they wouldnt believe me or care. I know what it is to be bullied. its a horrific way to live in fear everyday. Untill one day in 9th grade, 2 girls that didnt even know me jumped me and all the crowd boys as well were kicking and had to go to the hospital. but God had a plan for my life and im following jesus.

Such words cut so deep yet offer no comfort. Only the truth that is teen suicides are a very real and dark subject of which to present to a mass audience. Teenagers nowadays *As I am one* are under immense pressure from puberty. We should guide, not force proper goals and guidance. But parents are irresponsible and schools are not much better atmospheres to associate from within. Suicide and death are themes that surround us every day, but we must learn to carry on over the pain.

Personally I don't think that the solution is preventing suicide as much as opening people's minds to consequences (either good or bad) to both choices; life or death.

For example; one positive consequence of dying would be that you would escape your pain. One positive aspect of living is that for every moment that you are alive, there is a chance for a better life.

Now two negative perspectives of the above:

- If you die, you don't feel relief

-If you life, life COULD get even worse

There are two kinds of people that help cause teens to commit suicide.

The people that ridicule them

And the people that do nothing to help them.

I feel that the worst of the two is the people that do nothing.

They kill themselves because they bottle in all the depresion and hopelessness and see that no one is trying to help them. They kill themselves to either end the pain or give a message to others saying "You didnt help, now my blood is on your hands"

The worst thing anyone can do, is do nothing.

If you dont care to help, at least tell someone else they need help. Then you can go on your way and forget about it.

I agree with you about the suicide. I was very suicidal, ever since I was 8-13. I couldn't handle anything. One friend said snap out of it, all it did was anger myself. One day after i got beaten up my friend took my hand & told me she was going to help me, she will be there. I always had heard "You don't deserve to live" when someone said I did, i didnt believe it. I can honestly say after my friend helped cope with my suicidal tendencies&the reason begind it i havent been suical for 2yrs now

I once contemplated suicide as a young man but never told anyone (not even my friends) but Jesus saved me in the end.
