@areYouSerious41 Yeah, she's broken those agreements herself, and the legality of them has always been questionable. She's also done things like try to make a custody ruling that goes way beyond the scope of what she's even allowed to do, let alone what the arbitration agreements entailed.
Nevertheless, binding arbitration can and is overturned, and it's happened with quite a few of Sheindlin's rulings.

This women is paid $43 nillion per contract to entertain us and that's what she does. This is a reality show, not real court. No ''real" judge acts like that and, if they did, there would be so many appeals, the court system couldn't handle them. Yes, she was a Family Court judge way back when, but that means she only heard divorces, adoptions, child support cases, etc. .Since she works for TV executives and not the Court System, no one will ever call her out or "judge" her for her mistakes.

@areYouSerious41 Yeah, she's broken those agreements herself, and the legality of them has always been questionable. She's also done things like try to make a custody ruling that goes way beyond the scope of what she's even allowed to do, let alone what the arbitration agreements entailed.
Nevertheless, binding arbitration can and is overturned, and it's happened with quite a few of Sheindlin's rulings.

@jofirebat In one of her cases a person defended by saying that her dog was tested and it was shown that the dog would never bite a person by a professional but then Judge Judy said something along the lines of ''Oh they can't really prove that a dog won't ever bite someone,'' however that is wrong because yes A PROFESSIONAL CAN. So this is a piece of evidence on why Judge Judy is a bitch and thinks she knows everything.

There's no such thing. You can put a fake hand in front of their food bowl, and their reaction to it isn't proof either way. So no...that's not true. Because arbitrators don't have the legal power to decide that, her ruling was overruled and therefore incorrect. So yeah, she does think she knows everything.

Stepping out of where power is given, however, is another thing entirely. In short, just because she made a ruling that was over-ruled, does not mean that the ruling was not a fair one. She made a ruling that she felt was best, and as a RESULT of her making that ruling, that was why the courts over-ruled her decision. She was neither wrong or right.
