  • coollll it was awesome going to click like lol

  • Before orpheous hit earth it was mostly water anyway

  • Life didn't exist before the advent of Moon.

  • @5:47 - @6:30 - the soundtrack reminds me of Derek Wadsworth Space:1999 composition for the "Magus Arrival" scene in the episode "New Adam, New Eve" and its reuse in the "Surface EVA" scene in "Brian the Brain".

  • U are sing Celestia

  • 2008?! It's year 2012!>:(

  • Great work Pifko and I enjoyed your presentation.

  • Earth survive because earth is big, so it can last longer........

  • sounds like the score of DBZ

  • i feel like i was playing a video game

  • sometime in the future when we are able to move the earth and time travel we will maybe stop the orpheus collision.

  • @PsiStarstormOmega985 why would we want to stop it? we might not even be here to day if we do and then we wouldnt have a moon and how could we stop an enourmous planet coliding with us we wouldnt be able to breatth or anything. oh and i thought the planet was called thea

  • @a23azza yep the planet was defiantley called thea

  • @a23azza but witch is witch thea or orpheus though orpheus would orbit our earth if we do.

  • @PsiStarstormOmega985

bad idea. We will have chronoshifted ourselves from time.

  • 0:52 Earth looks like hell

  • So from the asteroid bits it formed the moon?

  • HOW DID YOU DO THAT?

  • The Moon is a Machine /Giant War Ship

  • I remember that Earth was actually a violent cruel world. Named after roman gods it was formed into the volcanic planet. As we see it today Venus was not the hottest. Earth was, it had super volcanos. And astroids rained down each day. Causing mass explosions of lava. The lava was launched and the solar sun brought in the sun rays which caused explosions on Earth. The sun moved over and let Planet Orpheus crash into dust. Which gave Earth a name. The Home of Oxygen.

  • @Codymixmasta

STRAIGHT UP. The planet Orpheus's last words were "YO. DIS WORLD NOW BE CALLEDTEHHOMEOFOXYGEEEEEEEEEEEN-"

I remember, because I was there and I was like "SHEEEEE-IT that planet done up and crashed into planet VolcanoRome, tho' I guess it's now The Home of Oxygen." I was gonna call it The Home of Depot, but I figured that was never gonna catch on. Then the solar sun brought in sun rays and lit up mah blunt and I was all like "420" and that was the year it all began!

  • Just so you know, the name of the planet is not Orpheus. It's Theia. :)

  • Is this a mod or something?

  • the sun is so small

  • 4:30 THE MOON AINT THAT BIG!!!!!.......is it?

  • @superkoff1 Camera was closer to the moon than to the earth

  • @superkoff1 nope

  • @superkoff1 LOL at the comment part "is it?" hahaha

  • Wouldn't an impact like this destroy both planets, creating a 2nd asteroyd belt? On the other hand,if the moon formed from earths ring of debries, why isn't this happening on Saturn? To strange...

  • thumbs up for dragonball z music

  • they looks like twins at 4:40 :D

  • uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • /watch?v=SOeGSMksnRg watch this please omg

  • I knew it was goku sb music x] nice vid

  • Huuummm ... life was not possible before the creation of the moon, the water was not created or at least not "stable"

  • Dragonball z hahaha

  • Omg this is total fake this is how the earth was made 4.4 billion years ago earth was a toxic planet with no hope of life than another planet (unkown) smashed into the toxic world creating a blue planet

  • OH MY GOD IT'S PREGNANT!

  • Comment removed

  • all you people should know most of the scientists don't belive in gods !!

  • Rofl @ the DBZ soundtrack.

  • all you athisest are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo stupid god made the earth moon, sun, and solar system. some one mesege me and tell me how that big collision made life

  • @skyjermaine I believe in god, but the only thing god has made (in my opinion) was the "Big-Bang". After that I believe in the "Rare-Earth-Theory". And now to your collisions: Lots of asteroids brought amino acid to our earth.

  • @Clim4xGamer The "Big-Bang" was just created by the stuff of creation...the blackness of space. It just happened. 'God' Never existed.

  • @wiibot15 I believe in god. Do you really have a logical explanation on how something that is currently 78 billion light years across could once be smaller than an atom?

  • @syahirSQRT2 Yes, How a single organism could one day become people :) .

  • @wiibot15

    Bumsen sie!

Idiot. You deserve to be cussed out in German for that!

  • 4:20 *looks at the top right corner* you telling me that the moon formed in Dec 2000?

  • it would be so much easier if everybody just agreed on God created the solar system the way it is now :)

  • 3:00 "Boom!" rofl.

  • wow

  • I love your videos! Keep up the great work.

  • DRAGONBALL Z

  • how do you get that add that allows you to go back in time and see the earlier earth

  • nuh uh the earth is only 6,011 years old! just kidding

  • Just to ask what does primitive mean again i cant really much remember

  • nice bit of dbz music :P

  • wow

  • The graphics are beautiful, but the angle of impact is totally wrong. if the two planets had collided head on and at such a high speed, they both would have been destroyed. Orpheus impact was in the form of a "grazer", meaning it nearly missed the earth, hitting it minimally at a corner first. Then it flew off, but having lost momentum, it returned immediately and hit the earth again and again and again, each time losing more momentum--and mass--to the earth, until it was nearly totally consumed

  • was it orpheus or thea?

  • 4:36 looks like

  • This video rocks.

My only criticism is that it is still speculative as to whether there was life on Earth when/if Orpheus(AKA Thea) struck.

  • good

  • THE SAIYANS ARE COMING

  • the earth was molten at that time!

  • what date is it at 0:52

  • Dbz music

  • dbz music

  • How did you make the Solar System look red and hellish when it's 2006?

  • I though that if the planet move even one inch than the sun would absord it. And what happened did the rock hit earth and becamered?

  • Ah! It even shows how fast the Primordial Earth rotated! :D Now THAT'S dedication!

  • whoever made this addon it must have taken them months o.o

  • what is this game/simulation?

  • xD 2006 is back in time before 2005! LOL

  • like you in this video

  • pifko6 how can I back in a time

  • Very thanks!!!!!!

  • amazing!!!!!!!! i'll try that!!!!

  • pifko6@ Please dont go to 2008 cause you diddent show us how life evolved! >:(

  • Wow, earth looks like venus O_O

  • AWESOME Video dude ... you did a great job !

  • life only started after the impact

  • @mobius1234 Indeed :)

  • Splendid video. Wonderful, magnificent. I enjoyed it a lot.

  • amazing how fast the moon moves away from earth.

  • About 1 mm per year

  • 1 millimeter per year?????? OMG that is slow... but wouldent gravity pull it closer, like it is right now? or is the orbit speed of the moon just fast enough for it to slowly move away?

  • speed orbit of the moon is fast enough for it to slowly move away plus interaction of tidal forces on earth and on the moon (tidal forces are also on the moon, because of the earth's gravity pull on the moon, surface rises and decents, unseen to man eyes).

  • @pifko6 How u make it all?

  • to continue... interaction of two tidal forces, cause to moon to move a little bit away.... I do not know how and why... forgot what they did say on documentary "if we had no moon" In short moon gets a little kick from earth, so moon moves a little bit away from earth....

astrodynamics stuff. Ask Nasa ! :D

  • K lol

  • @pifko6 How do you get that and waht website do u get that?

  • @pifko6 can ya make a tut?

  • Comment removed

  • @pifko6 "Fuckin' magnets. How do they work?" ~ Insane Clown Posse

  • @pifko6 any idea what would happen if the earth eventually broke free of the earths gravity? I mean besides it being ejected into space?

  • @pifko6 The tidal forces result in bulges on the side of the moon facing the earth and and on the earth facing the moon. due to Earth's rotation, the bulges 'lead' the moon. this results in extra mass pulling the moon which adds to its tangential velocity, making it go out

  • @shutup735 actually no. The moon was formed outside of the kepler(sp?) belt. You see when mach 1 earth was hit by a planetoid... the entire mach 1 earth was demolished and pulled back together from the residue gravity. Later rings where formed from the debris. When rings form around a planet minute amounts of gravity cause the dust and rocks to pull together into a moon. When moons form this way, they do not get pulled into the planet they instead escape the planet's gravity.

  • @shutup735

in geological measurements, 1mm/year is fast...

  • @shutup735 it is the "slingshot" effect that is pushing the moon away from the earth, slowly but surely. 4 billion years ago, the moon must have been only about 16,000 miles away from the surface of the earth.

  • @pifko6 its 4cm..

  • @pifko6 wrong roughly 3.6 CM a year

  • @pifko6 Actually it's about 4 centimeters per year.

  • @TheJockman117 it speeds up!

  • It's a good documentary.
