@BelieveandtrustJesus True, it is as you said in the message you sent me about your decision to live as a homosexual and still follow our Lord. Before you gave me so much convincing evidence that Jesus was also a homosexual I was like many believers; very judgemental. i like hymns more than contemporary songs.. It sounds more serious and peaceful in giving praise to God.

@ Drummerboiz i do respect your beliefs about music,but if the music was your reason why you can reach people it is wrong..God is the one who is working on them,the saved peoples are the ones who should pray for and TELL them the gospel,and if the only reason they worship God is about music his Christian foundation is not firm as a saved one. @BelieveandtrustJesus If anything, the Bible has encouraged us to widen our musical preferences (Psalm 33:3). Why would God tell us to sing a new song when all we're able to sing are 100 year old hymns? How are these hymns more inspired than our modern-day praise songs? I would appreciate it if you would only ague about something you know about. Go ahead. Give me examples of songs that you take issue with (meaning lyrics). More than likely, I don't listen to them anyway. Try me.

@BelieveandtrustJesus One more thing. How is listening to Christian rock written by modern-day believers a sin? Furthermore, who gives you the authority to call a clear matter of musical preference a sin? Are you trying to be God? I go by what the Bible identifies as sin, and there is nothing in Scripture about "biblical" musical preference. There is plenty about wholesome material, which I look into intensively. I dedicate time into looking to see if the bands are doctrinally sound.

First, I want to say that the reason rock got started in the first place was so musicians could express their innermost feelings to the listeners. That's ALL. Also, there's a HUGE difference between rock CULTURE and the rock GENRE. One worships the lusts of the flesh, and one is just how the music sounds.

@BelieveandtrustJesus BAHAHAHAHA finally someone broke out the music argument. I've been waiting for this one. I'm just curious as to how a particular style is unbiblical. Isn't it the words that make it unbiblical? Also, are you aware that most of the hymns we sing today are bar tunes with new words? Christian rock bands are reaching people who normally wouldn't be reached, and I'd like to hear how a genre is unChristian. Just curious as to whether or not you've educated yourself.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to let you all know that I have constantly been emailing Steven Anderson in regards to his unbiblical beliefs, and he has never responded. I particularly was disturbed by his sermon on Obama and his view on repentance. There were quite a few other things I've emailed him about though (about 20 emails).
