A beautiful movie. I saw it at BBC One last night... It gave me many varying emotions and feelings troughout the video. Happiness, love, sadness, pity, vengeance, confusion and more. What I also like about this video is the acting. Its very good, but yea, there are serveral A actors in it... What would I expect? It also shows us how two cultures *try* to live together in one country, and this isnt easy(I remember the scene with the barman and One-Stab) discrimination was acknowledged by the law.

I agree bm2g, one of the saddest movies. I think it is a story about life, a man's struggle with his inner soul. Life is not perfect for any of us and from the quote in another Brad Pitt movie "A River Runs Through It", he was enjoying the time with his borther and father and Norman stated: "The moment could not last." We must live life and enjoy it to the fullest, we cannot go back and live moments. We must remember those moments that made our hearts warm. Great movie and always will be.

I don't like to think of this actor as "was pretty"... he has an amazing talent and is so charismatic on-screen. Watching him and the other actors/actresses in this film is what is special about it: they are all so convincing. It is as if we are really there...not just pretty faces...beautiful art.

I'm thankful for all of the people who make films and books like this. It gives us perspective of our own lives, doesn't it?
