  • Seeing th freight thru Vero,I always wondered how far south you guys went.

    Now I know.

    I'd do that work for $100/week!

  • Whats the difference between a conductor and an engineer?

  • @mathiastheok a conductor usually leads an orchestra of up to 100 people in the recording studio; while the engineer is the person who is physically responsible for creating the sound laid down on tape!!

  • I know a engineer who ran out of hialeah, he ran a local freight i think, his name is Jim Slowin, do you know him, he retired a not to long ago.

  • FEC

    100 = SD70M-2

    400 = GP40

    500 = GP38

    600 = GP9 (gone)

    700 = SD40-2

  • id see them behing the publix dist center when id deliver down there

  • I hear that train all the time passing through Fort Pierce!

  • 10 hours from Hialeah (Miami) to Jacksonville (Bowden Yard). Power looks to be GP40, SD40-2, GP40-2.

    Old FEC Hogger Out

  • looked like 2 GP-38, and a SD-40-2

  • There's my ECH, tell him to stop acting like a moron LOL

  • What was your power that day? Looked like SDs of some sort, but I can't differentiate between most of the older stuff. 40-2s, 50s, 60s?

  • 10 hours? damn thats a long time if you gotta take a pee or number 2. where are they headed too?

  • That day, train #208 had three locomotives pulling 138 cars (mostly ortner hoppers full of rock). I've seen #208 as long as 170 cars. Not too many hills on the Florida East Coast.

  • I like 226's power, old and new. Are you a conductor?

  • This is an awesome video...

  • Very Nice. Good horn. Do you work for the FEC? If so, what job position?
