Los que dicen que nuestra juventud no quieren cantar esta musica no han visto asi canta pr.ALLI SE PRESENTAN muchachitos que ya cantan esta musica.Esto a pesar de los enbates de otras culturas que invaden nuestra ISLA.

Puerto Rican to the core, I love this music. I consider myself an American who has fought for this Country and it's values. This music brings me back to my childhood and it is sad that it is no longer sold anywhere and the only way to get it is via the internet. This music is to us like Salsa or regeton are to the new generation. It is however good that people contribute to this means to get some of this music to us the older generation who still love this music and truly enjoy it.

Si no hay mercado para esta música eventualmente desaparecerá. Hay que recordar quen en los años 1960 y antes, en Puerto Rico y paises extranjeros se escuchaba esta música de la misma forma que otros generos y poco a poco fue menguando hasta desaparecer excepto en esta clase de ámbito electronico.

Pues en Puerto Rico tenemos muchos jovencitos (y jovencitas) aprendiendo y practicando este arte de cantar nuestra musica campesina y lo hacen muy bien y gracias sus maestros que les estan ensen~ando muy bien, nuestra musica continuara por muchos an~os y tl vez por siempre..Eugenio Ayala.(Ah, y he visto en T.V. y en youtube, jovenes tocando los instrumentos de una forma asombrosa tambien)

I can't speak Spanish, but I've got just this Gemano Rosario's cd, and on my cd this song is called "Endrujula", but not "Esdrujulas" as written here!

some times the cds have errors, the correct word is 'esdrujulas' in english "proparoxytone" the stress falls on any vowel more than two syllables from the end of the word. this is actually within the art of improvisation (or even decima writing) one of the most difficult things to do since most words in Spanish are stressed in the penultimate syllable (llanas) or in the last one (agudas.)
