I'm watching this on an iPad 2. Camera on front and back. 64 gb. Still no flash. Typing is easy on it. Everything is so smooth. There is a word- like program app for it. GarageBand is amazing, which you can't do on your Dell.thousands of other apps. You CAN have college textbooks. You should get the iPad 2.
theyre seriously flawed devices, no flash... email program is sucky and crashes. Apple promised OS upgrades havent fixed the "evil email" crash problem in like 2 years. They dont care... the devices have problems getting Wifi, they wont replace your sif it happens to be one with this fault. If yo bought one in US to take to UK it wont let you get apps. This device should be returned for refund when you find out how boring it is. NO MULTITASKING! NO CAMERA. NO PHONE.

yes the ipad sold a crazy amount of units but what has it done for anyone really Im a graphic designer and a possible use for it could be as a digital portfolio I guess the drawing app that adobe have on it isn't great the accuracy is abit of and the fact u cant use a stylus renders it abit useless as an actual drawing tablet. Overall I dont think its a complete fail but its not revolutionary and alot of those sales were just hype.

Adobe Flash does not work on any device without a mouse, I've an Android phone (HTC Desire 1GHz Snapdragon) with Flash support and it sucks, you can't play flash games, everything lags which is entirely the reason why flash isn't on the iPad, you need a mouse, how can you hover and click, and right click with a touchscreen!

@NoirNG For the music producers out there, iPad is the poor man's Jazzmutant Lemur (about almost 7 times the price of the iPad). What it does is provide an amazing interface to allow music producers intuitive control over their equipment. The app store will provide plenty of uses for this machine. I'm not an Apple fanboy, but do some research before assuming that this device is all about looks.

Exactly what i was thinking! Its useless for everything except reading and looking cool. And yeah BackTrack is cool. I have the Wifi hacking issue of HAKIN9. Great mag. Yeah i'd just get a netbook. A good one for a couple hundred bucks on win 7 plus virtualbox (for Linux) is a lot better.

@NoirNG For the music producers out there, iPad is the poor man's Jazzmutant Lemur (about almost 7 times the price of the iPad). What it does is provide an amazing interface to allow music producers intuitive control over their equipment. The app store will provide plenty of uses for this machine. I'm not an Apple fanboy, but do some research before assuming that this device is all about looks.
Oh and the only epic fail here is the spelling by the video uploader.

My Zune HD runs at 700 MHz and the iPad runs at 1000 MHz. The iPad is like 6 times bigger and only runs 300 MHz faster....... Fail!

iPad is exactly what it was supposed to be. Was not intended to be be a full-on computer. How do you type on it? Are you "dat ignant"? I'm typing on it right now, watching your ugly ass babble. I'm betting that apple was nice and fresh until you bit it with your dirty mouth, instantly started rotting away when your breath hit it. @mdtrue Im not angry. I just feel the need to speak up when people needlessly talk isht about a product. If you don't like it, you don't want it, all you simply have to do is not buy it. Anyone who posts something online, or publicly somehow, just to bash something because it doesn't happen to scratch all of their particular itches, well, then they are fair game, in my opinion.
Ive used a Droid before. I don't like it. But I feel secure & busy enough not to feel the need to go out and bash it

From a person who actually own one! The iPad is a great device, it's intended audience is actually for those who need portability and computing needs w/o the need for processing power. In other words it is a media device capable of doing small processes that a standard computer can do. It's in a class of it's own, Netbook not by far and honestly the iPad should have been the Netbook and current net books should have just been mini computers. The iPad is a "Giant iPhone".. Exactly! So get over the fact that it doesn't flash, and usb and all of those pc peripherals. This doesn't come close to a pc based tablet. It is just an iPod with better hardware. It does an excellent job at what it is suppose to do. When 2nd gen iPad releases I will buy one. Epic Fail? lol nerdy but not true. Failed to your expectations, but not as the product itself.

Exactly what i was thinking! Its useless for everything except reading and looking cool. And yeah BackTrack is cool. I have the Wifi hacking issue of HAKIN9. Great mag. Yeah i'd just get a netbook. A good one for a couple hundred bucks on win 7 plus virtualbox (for Linux) is a lot better.

I really think they should have focused on developing fluid handwriting recognition on this rather than dump in a large software keyboard, Without haptic feedback its not going to feel right for allot of people, well done handwriting recognition could have convinced them.
