I am a passionate vegan. Current research published in peer reviewed medical journals, states that the only natural source of B12 that is "active" comes from animal products. They have discovered that plants foods provide non-active forms of B12 that the body cannot utilise. All vegans must therefore supplement their diet with B12. Supplements arent made from & do not contain animal products. Not taking B12 supplements is dangerous for all vegan's health.
Think of the cow in nature, she eat grass that contain everything her body need to be big, strong and healthy, incloding B-12 and protein.

This has me drooling! I do have to say from what I've read hemp seeds do not have adequate B-12 in them, at least the type that the body can use.
