  • It's so simple and cheap to look and point fingers at behaviour that doesn't conform with one's personal ideas of what is acceptable by any norm (be it social or theological) and condemn what's happening w/o looking at the fruit of it. I can see the fruit of the people condemning Todd Bentley and his ministry here, and it is jealousy, hatred, claims not founded in sober testing. That's the fruit of the devil. Btw, "blowing one's mind" means "doing things beyond one's imagination". You'd need it.

  • This isn't about what doesn't conform with one's personal ideas of what is acceptable - it's about Biblical truths. Esoteric experience isn't what we're to judge by - The Bible is the standard & we need to judge experiences in light of God's Word.

  • Than you are biased by your upbringing and environment, as is most everybody else.

  • Sure I'm biased - but I'm biased by objective TRUTH. The whole nature vs nurture argument just doesn't apply here, as God is beyond the simplistic arguments of modern psychology.

Bentley is provably a liar and demonstrably a "New Age" prophet. Not that he foretells anything, but that he speaks from a New Age movement perspective. He has attempted to change the Gospel of Jesus Christ into something it's not.

  • Of course you would not agree because you are a Christian? Honestly I did not watch the video, but I am a spiritual person so I already have my own views and opinions.

I don't think God will ever be proven with experiments and surveys, unless you go on personal experiences. That is the best we can do while we are down here.

  • You didn't watch the video, so your own "views and opinions" are based on what, exactly?

Whoever said anything about surveys or experiences? Saying that all we can go on are our personal experiences is to foolishly say that there is no objective truth. This is a ridiculous argument put forth by philosophers with no grasp on reality.

  • The objective truth is that God cannot be proven through scientific methods, yet God has been "proven" many times in the changed conduct of people all over the world. These personal experiences are the only "proof" we will have.

I have had many, many of these. Here's one.

I had just bought a cross and put it around my neck for the first time and lied down in bed. Instantly my body became paralyzed and overwhelmed in this warm, tingling sensation. It was the most comforting feeling ever.

  • First, your example is bogus. Don't insult my intelligence.

Second, the discussion around proving God's existence doesn't really fit into a YT forum. You'll have to start with something smaller. How about the simple concept that there can BE objective truth?

  • There was another time when my soulmate friend laid down next to me when I was lying in bed at night. I felt this slight tingling pressure against my chest and suddenly I was engulfed again in this all-encompassing pins and needles feeling. I realized I no longer had any control over my words and everything I said to her was coming out impulsively. It was easily the best feeling in the world, one of unconditional love.

Don't insult my intelligence. We are merely trading views and experiences.

  • You're not trying to trade experiences & views, you're trying to make a comparison between some alleged experience and the experience you think that Christians will claim makes their beliefs valid. I posit that feelings have nothing to do with it.

  • Maybe I misunderstood but I'm not a Christian. if you don't base your opinions on feelings than what? The Bible? Research on the internet?

I was talking to my friend telepathically ( and had been for a while now) when I asked her to lie down next to me. I felt this slight tingling pressure on my chest and then my body was overwhelmed with this warm, all-encompassing feeling of love. I was trying to talk to her but my thoughts were coming out of impulse. It was the best feeling in the world.

  • Pardon my skepticism, but I doubt you're sincere. However, I'll treat you as such.

NO, Christians should not base their faith on their feelings. Emotions are fickle. Tingling sensations could be nothing more than gas. The Bible is the basis for our belief.

  • Trust me, I have much better things to do than to make up stories and then post them on the internet. I cannot do something unless I sincerely believe and am passionate about it, and I only write on here to help people. I know what I felt. This was the most overpowering, comforting love I have ever felt, ever. The best feeling in the world. And those stories are just two of many, many more I have had.

I say we just part ways as you are a Christian and I am not.

  • I'll save it for those Bentley is deceiving.

The soldiers who crucified Jesus were deceived, not deceiving.

Where is my love and passion? What does this mean, anyway? I quote 2 verses from the BIBLE and you ask me where my love and passion are?

Are you saying that because I listen to the Bible, rather than Todd Bentley that I have no love or passion?

  • please, please do not judge others, and God will not judge you Luke 6,37

  • Ermutigen - so you're saying that we shouldn't "judge" the others in this video? It's okay what they do? You're okay with the new age people?

    1 Thes 5:21 "Test everything."

1 Jn 4:1 "... don not believe every spirit, but test the spirts to see whether they are from God because many false prophets have gone out into the world."

  • sad thing is so many can't see through the likes of Bentley , Kenny and Benny.

  • thank you for making me sick. absolutely disgusted with Bentley.

  • Great video - this clearly illustrates the spiritual bankruptcy of the so-called Faith Movement. There's very little truth to their teaching (if any - depends on the perons and day) and there is much to be concerned about.

  • This silly hysterical laughter makes me angry!

  • And to address your question:

    """Have you been there? """"

Have you been to the New Age Kundalini? Do you think for one minute they are expereincing anything different? Do you know how 'holy' new age experiences feel?

I dont have to go to Lakeland to know whats going on, I saw it all in England with the Toronto blessing.

God bless and keep you safe, and may He restore your mind to a healthy discerning one.

  • Yes null there is a basic difference, the new age isnt parading its bizzare spirits around under the banner of 'christianity'.

Thanks for being concerned about my brain, as you will probably have noticed, my God hasnt blown mine.

""Therefore, prepare your MINDS for action, keep SOBER in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ"".

    1st Peter 1:13 NAS.

This is the same inspired word of the Holy Spirit of Acts 2.

  • Don´t anyone see the difference??? Have you been there?

  • Close your eyes and you wouldnt be able to tell that the video had changed from the new age movement to the church thats got the Bentley disease.

  • Open your brain and you´ll know, that there´s something basicly different.
