thanx for this simple and nice tutorial,,conserning the the properties of rigid body collection,,,can you tell me the difference between bounding box?bounding sphere?mesh convex Hull?proxy convex Hull??concave Mesh??proxy concave mesh,,not shared?? and what is the meaning of inactive??unyielding??phantom???disable all collision??
hi there, when I created the animation, there are no keyframes stored, but when I played back the timeslide the animation is created, just here are no visible keyframes......does anyone know the cause of this?
i love these tutorials, absolutely no mention of Max Scene or Havok units, no explanation as to the units for parameters like mass... I suppose its in Tones! and that bullet is 2 miles in lenght?
you right click bellow the role-out menu next to the undo button and stuff then select reactor. then just drag the popped up tool bar where u want to.
When I follow the steps in this tutorial, the object that is falling never actually makes contact with the plane. None of the settings seem to change this. Can you help?
if you go to the uttility rollout and open the sub menu for reactor, you will find a rollout for 'world'. in there you should find an option for scale. 1m = ??m you should ajust this to match your system units. you can also adjust the collision tollerence. start at default and reduce it a bit at a time so as not to crash it. this should cause the computer to simulate the 'contact' at this designated distance. and reduce the effect of it 'hitting' an invisible surface. hope this helps :)

How did you create the little clip at the end? You know, the one with the camera flying over the water, and into the clouds?
