  • The woman in the sweatshirt, how chic!, has zits all over her back.

  • Fuuuuunnnnn! WJJB out of Portland, ME had similar jingles to this. Actuallly, there were more jingles with the vocoters. Is PAMS a division of Atlantic Coast Radio? I think J.J. Jeffrey was another legend in the jingle business. Please post more videos of this! Thanks!

  • How many year have they been together doing this?

  • The Seventies and Eighties seem to be the last best days for commercial jingles. The female solos from the Seventies were so beautiful.

  • wonderful wonderful stuff

  • A really nice insight into these wonderful pieces of history!

  • 0.32: What is a clown, imitating a cunt, doing in a reording studio?

  • @t0mme1981 You mean, What is A.H. in the glasses, a diseased slam-hound, doing in a recording studio? Probably giving out BJs to anyone who wants one. When you look like that you can become pretty desperate for attention. Oh yeah, & she's not imitating, she's the real deal.

  • pams of dallas for WABC NEW YORK and the BRITISH LAD SHOW

  • this sucked

  • Such a cool process to watch. I've always been a fan of good radio jingles. Frank Gari was an absolute master! Sadly, I think it's becoming a lost art nowadays.

  • Any idea what year this is?

  • @SolarEXtract The video of the PAMS session was recorded in 1997 by my friend in Dallas, Texas. He's the same guy who recorded the ABC Studio tour, available on my site.

  • @Chris5277 Thanks for the reply!

  • Amazing to me that the ladies are sitting down for this. Not the best way to sing, but I suppose doing just a couple of words or a short phrase doesn't demand as much breath control as a song does....

  • I have the best of big l's jingles featuring many of this group/PAMS jingles and they sound awesome so to watch them in action is brilliant.

  • thanks for this. the one ken r put out a few year ago (and charged for) was so high-level; I reallly wanted to see close ups of radio jingles coming out of peoples heads. Guess there aren't many videos like this since everyone there seemed kind of camera shy even through the window

  • ladies im not convinced

  • Jim Clancy had The Pipes.

  • @sarahkasapna , The KVIL jingles were done by the Heller Company. Do a search on Hugh Heller and see what you come up with

  • i was saying, there work they did for Riverside's KOLA 99.9! remember that if anybodys from Riverside?

  • oh wow this sounds like the old KVIL jingle singers... I wonder if it is... I actually LOVED their christmas album when I was a kid.

  • @sarahkasapna Actually, the KVIL Christmas Albums were produced by FairWest using many of the same singers. The master reels for them sit on the shelf here.

  • I have watched this many times on YouTube and I have to say... I love this! :-D

  • i cant stop watching it either. this does seem like fun work to get into.

  • The dials move keep the dials movin

  • Gosh, how do I get into this? It looks like fun!

  • they are just amazing

  • It sound like "Fred Flinstone's"

  • PAMS is my all-time favorite jingle palace. Everything they've done is top notch.

  • More of these please!!! Are these also members of the team that do all the jingles for XM's spots? These people are terrific talents!

  • Yes, XM's 60s on 6 jingles are recreation of specific series of PAMS jingles from the 60's, mostly 1967.

  • Absolutely love the jingles on 60s on 6; you all rock!!

  • A 5 voice session from the guys that have been on more stations than the Beatles,Beach Boys and Rolling Stones put together..let's give them the respect they deserve !!!

    From left to right...

Brian Beck,Greg Clancy,Dan Alexander,Kay Sharpe and Abby Anderson.

  • Greg Clancy any relation to Jim Clancy, who sang on the originals in the 60's?

The original jingle, BTW, was from a version of PAMS Series 26 that was originally recorded for Detroit station WXYZ.

  • That's right - Greg is Jim's son.

He's also been involved with Dad with the Vocal Majority (check them out on here!)

  • The jingles sound 60's era. Were the performers staging this to provide an idea about jingle production? Just curious.

  • This isn't staged - it's "LIVE". The client for this production was in the studio with a video camera. 4 of the people you see in this video still make a living producing jingles and sing in iJingles.

  • Spectacular!

  • Great to see this sort of thing. If you have any more I would love to see them!!
