The fact is the Heroes ball is the original Military Ball since 1959. What they attended was the Commander in Chief's Ball which was started by GW Bush and only Military are allowed to attend. He was the first President to skip the Heroes ball since it began in 1959. The reason cited was logistics. The lavish parties I referred to are the ones they are holding at the white house most every week. You know with the $100.00 a plate Japanese steaks which are being paid for by taxpayers.
