omg I can't believe how funny this was and that i sat for the whole hour.

To those who say its boring, well you can't feel the g force and the other countless chemicals (ex. adrenaline) that course through your body if you were actually sitting in the cockpit and not including the preparation beforehand ( flight plan, debreifing, training)

I don't know how much exactly, but the amount of simulator hours you need to put in is enormous before you even fly the real thing.

This is the funniest thing i've ever seen. I've played the best hardcore flightcombat sims over the years and they do require a lot of learning and procedure. BTW, you did not take off from the run way :P It was on the right. You can see it as you pull up and take off from the TAXI WAY! :)

Get yourself a Thurstmaster Hotas, and some pedals and start reading those manuals.

The reason it takes 3 minutes before the missiles can be used after enabling EO is that the camera sensors in the missiles needs to be heated to a specific temperature before they work properly. After 3 minutes they are at optimum temperature, if they are left on for too long they will over heat and if it was on a real plane they could break and the missile would be useless.

This simulator is insane, this was a fun video to watch! You did better than i did the first time :P

I don't know about the specifics in this case, but I think the thermal cameras need to be cooled down, not heated up. The extremely low temperature of the sensor makes it more sensitive to incoming heat radiation, or something.

This is hilarious.. also makes me feel like a rocket scientist since I play this on a regular basis. It's very rewarding once you learn all the different aspects and get good at it. You guys should check out it's sister simulator; DCS: Black Shark 2. Same type of study simulator, just with a russian helicopter instead.
