love this video. the movie itself was great. i love the subtext. a little creepy, but meryl and liev are amazing.

i found a few but would love to read other people's versions of the backstory. just imagine the possibilities.

@Galie77 Ils meurent parce que Ben Marco les assassine. Ce dernier est lui aussi sous le controle de Manchurian Global; il a ete hypnotique et instruit d'assassiner Bob Arthur (ce qui aurait fait que Raymond devienne President). A la fin Ben parvient arreter le complot en tuant Raymond et Eleanor. C'est une intrigue un peu compliquee -- avez-vous vu le film? Sinon ca vous aiderait je pense.

Et oui, c'est sa mere, mais je suis tres, tres d'accord que le sous-texte suggere autrechose. >: )

@Galie77 Oui, juste avant il y a un moment ou Raymond et Ben parlent ensemble a l'ecole et Ben essaie de convaincre R de lutter avec lui contre les conspirateurs. Raymond repond "l'ennemi c'est moi" parce qu'il a commence a se rendre compte que la seule facon qu'ils peuvent mettre fin au complot est par le tuer. Je pense que c'etait ce que les ecrivains voulaient a ce moment-la que vous decrivez, a la fin -- que Raymond demandait a Ben de tirer.

haha i love meryl its so cute how she twirls.. i cried at the end :(... anyways its wierd how she has a thing for her son. You can tell she wants to kiss him because if you haven't noticed in all of her movies before she kisses the guy she looks at his lips, her eyes dart back and forth first to his eyes then back to his lips lol!!!

i have to admit i did watch this before watching the movie. meryl was amazing in it. in an interview she said that there were several versions of the bathroom scene that could have taken this movie to a level that they did not intend on going. even knowing that they die...the end still blew my mind
