I thought that Cuba was a Spanish speaking country but looking at the website of the Cuban Ballet I found all these names which I'm sure have been made up: Ingris, Arianni, Yaima, Raisel, Yilian, Yinet, Dairon, Eliécer,Mayrel, Estheysis, Ivis, Lissi, Viengsay, Yanela, Osiel, Amaya, Sadaise, Arian, Raisa, Kenia, Mayde, Aymara, Moyna.
Or is this a Cuban hobby? To invent names? They all sound so funny and tacky.!!
I saw Aymarada and Mayde dancing in Cuba, they were very well, especially Aymara. She was very classic and beatifull with good technique and Mayde was very good too. What happend with Mayde Pena?
I don't understand: 150 Anniversary of what? Can't be from the creation of the BNC, since the Alonso's created it. Otherwise the Alonso's would be more than 150 years old now...
My Beautiful Step Mother still talented as ever, you made my daddy so happy! You gave me two beautiful sisters Sofia and gabrielle and worked with me on what little ballet i remember.
I hope that one day you will reconsider opening that school of ballet that you wanted. te quiero mimi. Love Katya
Aydmara Cabrera was called to be one of the classiest and most beautiful Cuban ballerinas. In fact she was. Unfortunately, she quit dancing at a very young age to rise a family. Good for her... Bad for us
a shame you never met Aydmara... she is one of the most beautiful dancers I've had the pleasure of not only meeting.. but learning from. She taught at my dance school here in the US, and was a blessing in disguise to me.
I never had the privilege of seeing these two Cuban Jewels dance.Mayde Penas Moyna is the most perfect I've ever seen with a higher degree of difficulty than anywhere else in the world even today.Aydmara Cabrera I know from going to the ballet and she is happily married with a perfect husband and two gorgeous children living in the U.S. I call her the Maria Felix of Cuban Ballet! She's so beautiful.
Entre los Los Albrecht se encontraba el magnífico Jorge Vega, Aquí un video casi 20 años después.

Aydmara Cabrera could have been one of the classiest and most inspiring Cuban ballerinas.. Pity her career was cut way too short
