  • ive loved this band for so long and theres no way im gona stop!!

  • @ Paigers616 what you meant to say about censoring music was Media Conglomeration

  • ONE Of the coolest Japanese bands alive :)..... gackt tho will always be 1st ^_^

  • I shall miss Tsukasa's mad drumming skills... T~T

  • Hizumi the vocalist for D'espairsray is said to start his solo career he has his website set up already too.

  • @TheVISUALkeiLOVER Yeah. I saw that too. Hopefully his throat recovers enough for them to start D'espairsRay up again some day...

  • @TadakatsuH0nda Zero and Tsukasa also started up their own thing too so...

  • @TheVISUALkeiLOVER Ever went to that website? [umbrella-h]

He is doing a really good job and I will order some of those designs if they end up on shirts.

  • Hizumi has SO great voice!!!!! Love him.

  • I just listen to J-rock because us people don't need to explain it to anyone |3

on a side note: This music is perfect for endless grinding sessions of mindless slaughter on rpg's ; )

  • @DHCovers beautifully put! ;D

  • @JacesCurse Thanks : )

  • So sad, I love their music i-i

  • Now I want to scream out my emotions!

  • despairs ray will always be with us just hope they have a comeback when hizumis voice finally recovers

  • fucking sad year the top bands disbanded UnsraW, Deluhi, and now D'espairay T_T

  • @chrismixtrix And Vidoll....... Notice how all of them(deluhi, D'espairsray, and Vidoll) said they were on Hiatus and said they would return???? Well That is just some BS.

  • @chrismixtrix

    yeah man T - T

  • Good bye D'espairsRay.. You will always be with us..

  • D'espairsRay forever! Even if they are disbanded their music is not dead!

  • Gutted they're disbanding. Only got into them last year, so no chance of seeing them live :(

  • @UptownYardy I think my brother saw them once. I was about to go with him but didn't, now I regret not going.

  • Wow, this really sucks. Not the music! The news I heard!

I just found out about this band literally two weeks ago, and now I come to find out that they've disbanded yesterday. Shit sucks :(

  • D'espairsRay will always be in my heart! Good luck to the future for you guys :(

  • D`espairsRay forever ~ ♥

you guys will always be my favorite j-rock band EVER!

  • all of the good jrock bands are disbanding ;___; its almost like a curse D:

  • I can't believe one of the best Jrock bands ever Disbands (ToT)

your music continues to play in our hearts~

  • @ToastAndBananass YES!!! They disband!!! POOR HIZUMI!!! I hope his voice will be fully cured!!! T_T

  • @heartbrokendreamer Indeed it broke my heart, they where one of my first Jrock bands ever like 4,5 years ago,i would love to see them live past year but couldn't..... indeed i hope Hizumi will be okay again, would be such a waiste if a person with such a talents like him would suffer even more underneath his health ;c

  • @ToastAndBananass YES! He must be suffering alot! POOR HIM! The main thing that I felt sad is not they disbanded but over HIZUMI! T_T! He sang all his life, and now his voice is gone... POOR HIM!!

  • Greatly CREEPY. I loved it. D'espairsRay is the best.

  • JROCK FTW !

  • Behold the Japanese version of static-x

  • @stevethediseaseTUBE Static X doesn't really sound like D'espairsray

  • I don't know that many people who listen to Japanese music let alone any kind of Asian music. I find it kind of hard to find a person that listens to Japanese music, but I found it kind of Ironic when I found a friend in my German class who loved listening to Japanese music. He loved Dir en grey. And least I don't forget, my other friend who loves Japanese music, so that is a total of 2 people. :)

  • @Angel0fDarkness85 Look at the views. Now you know 341,877 of them Well atleast 300,000 because I know a lot of them came from me ;]

  • @GimpStyleMadness I think anyone who listens to this music is not ok, but fucking FANTASTIK! :D Rock on to those who listen to D'espairsray! and all other kinds of VKei \m/>.<\m/

  • BREAK DANCING TURTLE! Anyways, obsessed with Korean and Japanese music <3 I mean, there are a lot of Americans I know that love Korean and Japanese music... OK thats a lie, they live in america but they're american. I'm american though!

  • Japanese metal has its own style....thats what make me love to hear them so much....cheers from malaysia

  • Japanese metal has is own style....thats what make me love to hear them so much....cheers from malaysia

  • @ChaplainDMK

I don't listen to Death Metal, because all they do is blood curdling screams. It's just nasty. It's true that some American music isn't censored. But, TO ME, Japanese music has more passion about what they write. Death Metal to me is a poor excuse for music. Truthfully I might not understand what they are saying without a translation, but at least I CAN HEAR THEM.

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation Music isn't alway about words, you don't listen to death metal for their lyrics but for the MUSIC.

  • AND I WAS PLANNING TO GO TO BED. DX

  • @BlueGemPrincess , I didn't talk to you, Why are you talking crap to me? I believe that most of America's music is censored. And, Thank you, If I listened to mostly mainstream, I wouldn't be a fan of this band.

  • the PV reminds me of Fatal Frame

  • @isamo3412 The first one?

  • i like this song :)

  • hermoso el video genial k aguante el degaa¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • I like listening to Japanese rock because i do! PERIOD. One day, four years ago i stumbled upon it and i've been hooked ever since. I don't compare them to American bands, its pointless. Instead i enjoy JRock in addition to American rock.. it gives me more music variety. Besides, talent is abound everywhere across the globe, different styles and genres, i just happen to appreciate what they have to offer. And i appreciate D'espairsRay's ability to blow me away with the uniqueness of Redeemer!.

  • I stopped listening to this band for a while and I have know idea why! I love them and they're so awesome live!!! Oh! How I've missed some of these songs!

On a seperate note......You know, some American bands work really hard on their music. And some Japanese bands don't. It isn't all sunshine and daisies just because their Japanese. Making statements about how Japanese music is so much better than American music(in whole) just makes you guys sound ignorant and racist.

  • @BiggestTrollAlive42 I wasn't looking for a spot in the "top comments". (: Good lord.

  • 56 lifeless bitches.

  • @Realmofmalice Stop with these goddamn dislike button comments. They are totally overdone and won't get you a spot in the "top comments".

  • ...

    Makes me speechless.

  • This song (2 years ago) made me fall for this band. And I still find it my favorite song.

  • I listen to J-rock because I got sick and tired of every Rock band being a bunch of pussies who think making music is copying the bands before them. Fuck that shit, J-rock is original and creepy. as it should be.

  • My god, I love Nikai's works. His imagination never fails to take my breath away :')

That aside, this song is too kickassssss

  • @xYFTIMx i completely agree! :D

  • I lost my Redeemer CD :( My life is now filled with a hole ><

  • Simply Awsome!!!!

  • i listen to japanese music, because it sounds epic

  • I'm American and I don't listen to Japanese music because our music is censored. If you look into music scenes enough, there is PLENTY of good music thats not mainstream, meaning not censored in The States.

I listen to Japanese music because it kicks ass.

  • @Paigers616 agreed

  • i like japanese becouse asian girls have greatest boobies in the world :D

  • who gives a shit...just watch the vid.

  • Saying why people do what they do is easy, Finding Evidence to support what you say based on personal experience also easy, Communication with one of those people an hearing your wrong - priceless

  • First time I heard this i was hooked ever since!

  • soo good

  • 56 people just don't know how COOL it is!

  • D'ESPAIRS RAY music is GODLIKE bitches! <3

  • These guys are so talented! Wish I could find a copy of their Sexual Beast CD.

  • kinda weird and creepy but the song's good :D

  • 1 thing that suck about livin in the U.S. is that i like music from other places(japan been 1 of them) but i can only listen 2 them online instead of buyin them

  • This was my first japanese band i started listening to, and still my favorite after all these years. 8D

  • one of the first japanese songs or even bands i have been intruduced to late last year & im still in love with them <3 :D

  • i really love them!

  • if u guy like look at these girl they put the boys to in place the band ExistTrace and i love Dir En Grey the best so they have is RESONANCE and guy there girls there HOT!!!

  • people press like if jrock/ visual kei needs a rock band or guitar hero

  • this remind me of mason

  • Oh. Okay thank you! I was just worried and everyone has been saying alot of different things...thanks for setting it straight!!! :D (hope Hizumi gets better!)

  • wow I think the bass and guitar solo is the best part, keep replay it :D

  • PEOPLE! I've heard from some people that D'espairsray are disbanding, and I've heard form others that they are 'taking a break'.

COULD SOMEONE GIVE ME THE WHOLE TRUTH! this could help me and alot of other confused people :S

    THANKS!

  • @kiekosuoh calm down. due to the official website they claimed that Hizumi is having a problem with his vocal code and in pain a lot, BUT he's in medical treatment. So the band promised about next year, when Hizumi's fine, they will continue their projects.

I"m not D'espairsRay's fan, but in every word they want us not to worry, so u should believe in them and wait.

  • haha awesome breakdown like part XD

  • Japanese music is just true - not only for sale. Is about real thoughts and feelings. Not about sick imagination. That's why I love it. And I'll always do. Thumb's up For D'espairsRay's <3

  • @UrukiRud3R can you be more clearer on the ''sickimagination'' part?;p

  • @albalest55 I thing, I was thinking {xD} that they singing [playing ect *all about creating the music*] what they want, and what they feel deep inside their souls *LOL I would NEVER say something like that so -> 'proud'* And "the others " just about things which will be bought. And this is sick for me, and lyrics and everything else. It's came from sick imagination. It's only for cash . *PROUD again* xD

  • i love this band i am sad they are taking a break. Ever since i saw them live i cant stop with tere music .

  • @jordler Yeees! I saw them live at an anime convention 5 years ago, fell in-love with them and still love them!

  • 迫力、スピード感・・・完璧です。。

  • Best looking Mummies I've seen yet :O they can rock that wrapped toilet paper xD

    D'espairsray pwns alllll :i

  • wow these guys are good

  • Me encanta la canción aunque no capté el vídeo, pero siguen siendo ellos así que me encanta

  • yttttttttttttttttttttttttttttty

  • Americans listen to Japanese Rock. The answer is simple and short. J-ROCK FUCKIN DOMINATES OVER AMERICA'S SHITTY MUSIC!!!!!

  • @Genavieve4077

    Only American?

  • @infernoxd007 No of course NOT just Americans. I was just adding to a comment that someone else had written.

  • i hope you get well soon hizumi because your voice is truly remarkable

  • 最高いいっすね。

  • they are hooot !!!

  • love them :D

  • sweeeeet<33

  • D'espairsRay <333

    Amazing song *-*

  • I wish they will perform this song on live~~~>.<~~

hope they will come back next time!!^0^

  • aww, my speakers can't go any louder :3

  • i saw this band when they came to canada they rule

  • !!!!!

    what a powerful songs!

i love their guitar and drums when 2:54

  • soo damn good!

  • Whee~ this is such an awesome video!!! XD

  • The reason why Americans listen to Japanese music is because they tell it like it is. Their music isn't forced to be censored like ours.

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation the reason they not being censored is because the japanese have no religion... (all i know that shinto is not religion just and tradition..)...

and damn! i should live there...

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation Exactly! I typed a four-page essay for my music class on the fact that Japanese music is just brutal and out there, but that's why it's so popular to some Americans!

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation

If you like this band, you should check out Area51.

    trust me.

This also goes for anyone else watching this vid.

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation Totally and absolutely agreed

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation Nah. I'm not American, but I don't understand one word these Japanese bands say in English, so it's not that :p

It's because they kick fucking ass.

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation Speak for yourself. I listen to it simply because I enjoy it.

For the record, I've never found any of the American music I've listened to to be heavily censored. But maybe that's because I didn't start with neutered pop music.

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation WRONG i listen to it because it is a beautiful piece of art it is nether about looks or sound the lyrics are much more deep and passionate than americans

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation I've never heard of any other country to censor music. On the other hand Japanese always pixelate all the porn. Maybe there's a connection there?

  • @fxc2 They (The Japanese) don't Pixelate Bestiality.

  • @fatboyslim142 I did not need to know that.

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation too true

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation I wouldn't say that. Look at the original Down With The Sickness. That was allowed to be released, it was just asked that they make a censored VERSION of the song. And look at Marilyn Manson's stuff.

Meh, I do understand your point though. Because it happens almost everywhere else in entertainment here in the states.

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation Do you really know the lyrics to enough Japanese music and know the modern Japanese views towards censorship that you can make that claim? Would a Visual Kei band really have lyrics that would be censored in America?

In reality Americans listen to Japanese music because it's different. Or because they're a complete weeaboo who thinks anything Japan does is God Tier, and Everything else is Shit tier, while being completely ignorant of any worthwhile American bands.

  • @JeremyxFisher I just love the drama and gothic horror element they still keep to their music. Alot of our american bands are all about the grunge and dirty hobo look. I like the theatrical outfits and how the song is portrayed through the video instead of guys blandly dancing in one place.

  • @Elithial Sure, maybe a lot, but not all of them. You sound like you would like bands like Orgy, Deathstars, Deadstar Assembly, or maybe Zeromancer. But I do agree, Shibuya kei is extremely good at looking good, and making great PV's.

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation nah, I still listen to some American bands if they really good though. About the censor things, Japan HAS CENSORED, yes, go check some pvs like Obscure or Saku of Dir en Grey, they have both cut and uncut versions.

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation really??never thought of it like that :P

but the lyrics are awesome, thats a reason I love it so much

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation

    not really.

its not like anyone can understand what the hell they're saying.

its just sounds good. Its like rammstein. I LOVE rammstein but i can't understand them.

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation I wanted to like your comment but it had 69 likes and I didn't want to ruin it...

  • @KitKitFTW now 70 ^^ and i got the 69 haha

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation that is such IMMENSE bullshit...

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation Please take off your rose-colored Japanophile glasses. Not all American music is censored, in fact MOST OF IT ISN'T, but I doubt you've listened to anything other than a mainstream pop band.

  • @UnderSkyAsphyxiation

    what's censored in american music?

these guys are just industrial metal, you obviously haven't come into the slimey depths of american brutal death metal if you think american music is censored

  • bravo! alls i can say! should i file this under 'things that dont suck' or under 'reasons to wake up in the morning'?

  • This PV shares the same atmosphere with Marilyn Manson's "The Beautiful People"

  • cool video O.O

  • my favourite song :D

  • song so awesome 4.5 mins passed by like it was nothing

  • When I first watched this music video it creeped the hell out of me but now I love it.

  • In-fucking-credible. I love pvs with a story to 'em. They put KoRn to absolute shaaaaaaaaaaame

  • Uhhh god. The Bass at 2:55

    Jiiiiiizzzzed in my pantsss~

  • @nightdhade Glad to know I wasn't the only one. Makes me feel less weird.

  • @idcdxv It's never weird to have zero want...

  • This is pretty awesome! This band keeps getting better and better!

  • The only vk band I CAN listen to... I don't know why their music are so... wonderful (thinking about broken puppets while listening to this...)

  • The lead singer kinda sounds like Hyde

  • @vanhart89 wow didn't think about that...a little.

  • the guys look hot

  • FUCKING SHIT !

  • @LucasGamimg my exact reaction when i saw it on tv : D

  • @kurokarasu13 Trying too hard IS part of the whole Visual Kei style, so I'd say it's par for the course.

  • Seeing D'espairsRay live in Toronto in less than a week! :)

  • It's good. But they sound and LOOK a lot like 90's era Marilyn Manson/NIN. It's like they think by throwing in some furry bunny suits that they're suddenly doing something new. Anyway, cool riffs. This band had a the biggest line I've ever seen wrapped around Sunset Blvd for their show tonight at The Roxy.

  • @evolross So you did see the show, right?

    I'm glad to hear that!

  • @NOA9222 Didn't see the show. Hadn't heard of them until I saw that line outside. That's when I YouTubed.

  • @evolross Oh,really.Thanks for the reply.

  • Comment removed

  • @evolross And the show at The Roxy was AMAZING. :D I was in love~~~ Again~~ And I screamed my throat into submission when Hizumi took his shirt off. XD

  • Ah, 40 guys have to click more accurately. :D

  • I think this is their best song...

I hate those 40 guys/girls who put thumbs down.

why don't you make a better song when u r so hard to criticize things othr people have done!!!

  • I WISH THIS CD WAS AVAILABLE WHERE I LIVE!

I really hate having to download it..

  • @YUHdawg I hate people that download things but YUHdawg, i don't hate you!

    You know why!

  • i like this song...

  • zajebiste pl

  • great song love the video the guys are hot have 2 of their cds

  • love right here

  • Hizumi looks amazing in this video ^^ got to love his scream

  • @RomanticIndulgence i agree great

  • Lol at the ratio between likes and dislikes;

    likes = 1575

dislikes = 40. <- guys you got pwned.

this song is so epicly BRILLIANT live I think I died seeing it performed last year *O*
