@BackboneOfTheSky a pivot point is basically a reoccurring pitch and a point of return (often the root) that's proceeded by a chord or in this case and most modern metal an intervalic shift, usually the octave and then weaving in and out of consonant and dissonant pitch-classes. the riff @ 1:11

@juustosiivu Ow yeah forgot about Opeth, but I don't really see them as Death Metal, though they pretty much are :p but most of the times I hear a Death Metal song that isn't by Death or Opeth it sounds like they are just trying to play as fast as possible and it doesn't sound good in my ears, no offense though. @TheRealMechanix Check out the classic death metal bands like Morbid Angel, Autopsy, Obituary, Immolation, Incantation, Asphyx, Sinister, Gorefest, Brutality, Entombed, Dismember and Carcass. Some of them play some fast stuff too, but they're definitely not speed freaks like Origin, which also rules.

But since this album is not available to buy yet, you either have to: A) Download it off of a filesharing website or torrent it or B) Wait until it comes out and buy it, I mean you should support these guys by buying it but I wanted to listen to it so I just downloaded it.
