  • Powerful beautiful emotion is always a good addition to a wonderful album

  • 1:03 - 1:34 Who's singing? Is it Mats Leven?

  • Centennial composition

  • Love all their albums but this one might be my favorite.

  • I feel totally enlightened after listening to this song.

  • Christopher johnsson is a master genius!

  • apparently.. Sophia is also the female version of Lucifer.

  • @piltogg Sophia is also the greek word for Wisdom...

  • Sorry, I replied too fast. I wrote first and read second. I should've done the opposite:D

  • so... does anyone here actually know the significance of Sophia?

  • @piltogg Something to do with Gnosticism, I think.

  • @Nightmarcher89 You sir, are correct! Sophia is the goddess of wisdom, the divine feminine, and the counterpart to Abraxas the divine masculine and god of knowledge .

  • @piltogg Sophia means wisdom

  • @piltogg yeahhh it means wisdom, it comes out from the greek ;)

  • My favourite song forever! Lovely Katarina ^^

  • my favorite

  • mi favorita!!

  • one of my favorite bands \m/ Katarina's voice is sooo fucking sweet *---*

    ...Awesome intro too

  • esta es unas de las que no me canso de escuchar...!

  • nice miusic

  • Who is the singer? Mats or Snowy?

  • @TheHarperad Snowy

  • @TheHarperad The original album singer was Mats, but when he left Snowy was doing the male parts live.

  • @hiegadeil Are you referring to this version, or the original demo? The liner notes state that the music itself was co-written by Mats, however, this vocalist is definitely Snowy; Mats' vocals sound vastly different, think "Blood of Kingu" or, another "Kabbalah" set-mate, "Son of the Staves of Time."

Truth be told, this is about the only song I actually enjoy Snowy's vocals in; and if his live performances are any indication, he is quite a character!

  • @MistletoeForest This version from this video, which is the original album version, is sang by Mats, NOT by Snowy. Mats uses a tone much lower than normally, hence your confusion probably. I had the opportunity to see them live on that tour, both with Mats and Snowy singing this song. Also, if you have heard the "Live Gothic" version (DVD), that is also Mats singing.

  • @hiegadeil I do indeed own the Live Gothic DVD, yet have watched only scattered bits of it--and it has been many, many months since last I watched any at all. Thinking back, I can recall being quite surprised to find Mats singing the song. It took me by complete surprise, for, frankly, he sounds so very similar to Snowy in this song! I must say that you are indeed correct. Seeing them both sing this song, how different does Snowy sound in his version?

  • @MistletoeForest Actually Snowy sounded pretty good singing this song live. Different from Mats, of course, but he and Kat shared a great stage chemistry, so they really made it work. There's several videos of Snowy performing it live here on YouTube, you might want to check it out ;)

  • @hiegadeil I'll do that.

  • Snowy`s voice is quite sexy in this song!! Love it!

  • Trully great song!

  • Lilith is Pershephone :O!?

  • It says my name! I love it, also if usually i listen punk, but it's really very beautiful!

  • good song!!

  • mi segunda cancion favorita de therion, detras de wand of avaris, viva therion!!!!!pulgar pa arriva xD

  • beautifull, Lilith must be proud

  • i am singing this sound really loud

  • damn, this song is beautifull.

  • but do you know who;s Lilith ? :S

  • Lilith (or Lilith) is a legendary figure of Jewish folklore, of Mesopotamian origin. It is considered the first wife of Adam before Eve.

  • @wasservermalbare

wrong, lillith is sumerian not hebrew. The hebrew stole too much from aegypt and their neighboors (look bible), but lillith is sumerian (godess of the wind in high skies)

JAHWE = aegyptian god. Jawhe is a code, decode it and you will see....

  • @wasservermalbare

wrong, its sumerian not hebrew and therefore much older.

  • @wasservermalbare Interesting... do you have any goo link regarding this information for further reading?

  • @VikingNightmare en. wikipedia. org / wiki / Lilith :P that´s it xD

  • The bass at the beginning is very nice.

  • really nice

  • Truly rare singing with epically solemn composition. You just cant get this often enough.
