It is called hydroton clay,

Or hydroton rocks you can get about 35lbs for 50$

He is actually replacing the "soil" though, with a median called rockwool cubes (about 10$ for 100) the hydroton just ask as support when ever the roots are in full suspension for systems such as D.W.Cs (DEEP WATER CULTULRE) which is the method he portrays in the video. I would suggest reading some LIT. on the subject though before you even think about starting its is alot more work than it looks

fuck yeah white widow is hella frosty and fire but if you like super frosty white strains also try pure kush , romulan and purple kush as these three will also turn white with a rediculous amount of bulbas head trichomes ive ran white widow along with the other three strains i mentioned all at the same PH and PPM and they all three come out super dank every time but theres nothing like a nice OG kush/ white widow cross which i think is called white fire but im not sure very nice grow peace

@KevinKayotic the legality of it is one thing, but just because it comes out of the soil, doesn't mean it's automatically safe, poison ivy for example, comes out of the ground, but would be quite deadly if you ate it. Marijuan, I've heard, was grown by everybody until the paper and fuel industry got scared and push for legislation in congress to make it illegal. As for the getting high part, I see no difference between this, and any other recreational substance.

@caneraripisirici the purpose behind 24 hours of light is to boost the energy stored by the plant because a plant grows vegitatively in dark hece why people put their plants in all darkduring flowering and to speed up production

you force flowers by switching to a minimum 12/12 and the time you choose relies upon strain, grow conditions, and demand. indicas naturally require early flowering while sativas coming a few weeks or so later

Friend, I have a problem.I have White Widow seeds to plant, runs fine at the stage of germination, but arrives at the stage of pre-flowering when the plant got there about 5 / 7 cm long the leaves begin to yellow and the plant dies.The problem is not lack of water that I care to keep the soil damp, also joined substrate plant.The plant at pre-flowering I put the catch 12 to 14 hours of direct sun per day on my balcony.
