Not sure why the title of the post includes the Clash song's title.

Hey mate i agree with u on all that its just i fought the law was just a song the clash covered it was originally recorded by Sonny Curtis and The Crickets (post buddy holly) so thats a song thats been around i just dont want people thinking the clash wrote it!!

Yes the song is called The Authority Song, but in this particular performance he briefy throws in some of 'I Fought the Law' in amongst it as well.. Hence The Authority Song/I Fought the Law.
