A green screen would make the job and it would look awesome with that nice model you have. Patric boivin, the guy who makes those stop motion videos, has a sweet selection of videos showing how he makes it. Buy some green paper and a nice digital camera and put the shots into the DRAGON software to add some motion blur and VOILA, you'll have a very decent shot.
