The earliest manuscripts of the apocrypha for the new testament dated over 100 years after the events they described had taken place these cannot be proved to be eye witness accounts they are dated from the 2nd century on the book of the papyrus rilens 457 p52*john fragment* which dated to about 125 ce a quarter of a century after Johns death can prove the book of john was made in the first century CE by John himself as scriptures indicate therefore the book of John was written by an eyewitness.
from my studies the apocrypha is real the matters are that Jesus never referred to them in anyways when he did quote scriptures for us to base faith in them when some of the things contradict themselves and the canonical bible
I wonder about that as well. God tells us to neither add nor taketh away his holy words yet the King James bible does so. You can actually buy a reprint of the first King James bible that originaly has the Apocrypha in it. It is written in old english and harder to understand though. Nice video man and very interesting.
Jesus said that the Father tells him just WHAT to say and just HOW to say it. This is an indication that his words are "just so." This means that there is such a precision to his speech that to add to his words or to subtract from them would alter the exactitude of what he was supposed to say. This does not preclude the possibility that there were things left out. I believe they were to be rejected FOR A TIME, so that the exactitude of his word would allow us to readmit them into the canon.
I just meant how the original King James bible had other books that were removed later on in the Nelson and our modern KJB now. I heard it contains the Maccabees and like 4 other books that were removed because they were not considered inspirationaly written from God.
If it has the Apocrpha it is not the orginal King James Bible. The if you want an orginal version of the King James Bible you need to get a 1610 or 1611 version; wich you will find that the Apocrypha is not there. Also you will find that the Apocrypha is not in the Ethiopian Cannon. If you look at William Tyndale who was responsible for most of the translation you will not find that book there. Walter J. Veith gives the source of this book.
Well, I'm not sure what the date is in the front but it is a hardback bible and cover is brown and is a King James print. It's in old English and has like 3 old books that the Catholics King Joseph bible has in it now. Yeah, I saw the Tyndale bible beside it but never thought to look much through it. If I find out more about this King James Bible then I'll let you know here soon, Cheers!
Then why does Jesus tell the rich man to go and sell all that he has and give it to the poor so that he might have treasure in the kingdom of heaven? Is that a damnable lie? It's not the almsgiving per se, but the spirit. If I gave something to help out a poor person because I had concern for the person, then my heart would be right. It is the love and compassion that comes from it that saves you. Even James says that just wishing that someone be clothed and fed is nothing--you have to do it.
HEY,this is pretty nice.Good Job.We shouldnt allow a king(king james)to be the final say so in what's good for us.Its sad that when you come with the aprocypha, the world are SO STUCK ON 66 to where they see no importance in it.Why reject truth. Its human nature, the ignorance in man,to reject what we dont understand. Its written,"ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY THE INSPIRATION OF GOD."Why narrow God's Word to 66 books&say this is God's Word.Who gave man that authority?HIMSELF.Continue with good teaching.
Well if you study the law which he said not to do away with in the law there is a lot of things where you are suppose to give to the poor. Also he said don't store treasure where it will rot but in heaven.
