i cant save anyting on my m50 after ive recorded!! my media mode is pretty much blank, i can select save, but the drop down menu is not how ive heard it should be, it has different options but theyre in a grey writing and nothing happens if i press them! :'(

A friend of mine has a Korg X50 and i dont know but whenever i play his keyboard most of the Sounds Sound Thicker and Stronger than the M50, I have really good ear i think, does anybody know whats going on. I just bought my M50 and i thought it would Own the X50.

Great video... a bit more clear than most.  I think it is assumed that we already know most of what we're doing... but I don't. Need true step by step. Trying now to figure out how to edit an arpeggio style and save as a user arpeggio in a separate place with a separate name.

Hey Mikescape08. I need some help. I have a Korg TR...and i have saved a song i made on the sequencer to my SD card in Media. Now the thing is... I want to put the music i did on my computer and play it from my computer...but the file is in .SNG... Do you know how to convert and/or read .SNG files??

And if you play the two side-by-side, you'll find the keys are more responsive and allow for better velocity and dynamics when striking. I just compared them at GC and was amazed at how much better the M50 was. The keys on the Juno G felt like a $100 Radio Shack keyboard in comparison, and I was almost sold on the Juno G from online info until I played the M50 today. I used to have the original Triton. The M50 is the Triton souped up to the max!

If you want to use single programs you should put them back to back in the bank d and scroll them with a switch pedal, if you want to use combinations (different programs together) do the same in bank d.

I owned some casio, yamaha, korg keyboards but the best I have ever played on was roland. That is the best sound you can get. Now I have korg m50 because I can't afford roland and let me tell you, it sound just great! If you just play with pre-recorded sounds it may sometimes sound cheesy for you but play around with it and you'll find great sounds. Your video is great, put some more explanations of what this korg capable of. Thanks!

NO COMPARISON between the M50 & MO6! The MO6 is years behind the M50! You obviously have NO CLUE what your talking about! I did the video, did the upgrade from the M06 to the M50. But I AM excited to see what yamaha comes out with to answer Korg's release of the M50!

I had both! And I know what I say, I sold the M50 and do not regret it! M50/M3 sound just awful. Yamaha wins in acoustics and electronics!

LOL,,, sounds are EXACTLY the sound sets of the big $ Korg. Cheezy? LOL. Whatever! You have no clue! Funny part, I do know the facts, and have used the M50 live in LARGE setups!

Buy something other than Korg of your not liking the sound set!

Ok, I'm the actual guy who made this video, my kid posted it under his name.

After almost a year, here is my report.

There is NO sampling on the M50, get the M3 if you need sampling.

In the studio, it's a better than decent unit with an OUTSTANDING sound-set and limitless fine-tuning & mixing of the sounds.

Live, for my use (I play bass and use the M50 in maybe 15 songs), the M50 is the PERFECT ticket for me.ONLY thing that would be nice is a Click out feed. NOTHING in the $1000 class compares!

I bought this kb last christmas. It sounds awesome, but being my first kb I'm having hard time figuring out 16 track midi recorder, manual just doesn't give you that much info. I wanted to add some different sounds to my recording I play the guitar and record on a boss 8 track recorder. I need help with this device any suggestions or coments I appriciated.

man, I'm having trouble with the sequencer. If I have strings recorded on track 1, when I go to record track 2, the sound changes on track 1 to whatever sound track 2 is under. What am I doing wrong?

I've got the Triton Extreme, and im not sure what problem ur having, but i can give a brief description on bringing in instruments and effects from program mode to the sequencer.

For a start, touching "copy from program" in the seq, you get the options of bringing in its effects. If you already have a program with its effects in the seq, this newly brough in prog will overwrite the effects.

What i learnt to do is start with a base prog with basic effects, and manually bring in other programs!
